Fjellerup Strand is a historic fishing village located in an at­tra­cti­ve holiday area on the North Djursland coast. The beach is par­ti­cu­lar­ly child-friendly with its shallow water and sandy bottom and has been awarded the pre­sti­gious Blue Flag. Here you will find idyllic dunes and narrow streets that invite both play and re­laxa­tion. The sur­ro­un­ding nature is unique and varied, with many walking trails and small roads perfect for cycling. In spring, the landscape is bre­ath­taking, with yellow fields of rapeseed and newly sprouted, light green forests. Along the coast, there are also great op­portu­ni­ties for fishing.

Nearby at­tra­ctions include Mejlgård Castle, the im­pres­si­ve stone dolmens at Tustrup, and Gl. Estrup Manor Museum. From the holiday home, it’s only about a 15-minute drive to Northern Europe’s largest amusement park, Djurs Som­mer­land, and around a 30-minute drive to the charming town of Grenå, where you can see sharks, penguins, and unusual fish at the Kattegat Centre. For a beautiful drive of just under an hour, you can explore southern Djursland with Ebeltoft and Mols Bjerge or visit Aarhus, the vibrant capital of Jutland.
