The surrounding nature is spectacular and varied, with numerous hiking trails and smaller roads ideal for walking and cycling. Along the coast, you’ll also find great opportunities for angling.
Explore the local area and pick up fresh fish, Danish vegetables, and honey. Djursland is filled with fantastic dining options—try Meilgaard Castle or Gjerrild Inn. Gl. Estrup, Denmark’s Manor Museum, is a must-visit and located just 20 km from the house.
