House-ID: 8552Welcome inside
Imagine starting the day with a short stroll down to the soft sand and gentle waves of Grenå Beach – just 200 meters from this summer house. When you return, you step into a bright wooden house with high ceilings and large windows, where sunlight fills the rooms with life and holiday atmosphere.
At the heart of the house is the spacious open-plan living area, where the kitchen, dining space, and living room naturally flow together. Here, you can prepare lunch while someone sets the table, and the rest of the family relaxes on the sofa in front of the wood-burning stove or watches a movie. From the living area, there is direct access to the enclosed terrace, facing east, south, and west.
The summer house offers three comfortable bedrooms – two with double beds and one with a bunk bed – as well as a loft with two mattresses, perfect for children to create their own little hideaway. After a day of adventures, you can pamper yourself in the spa or enjoy the warmth of the sauna. The bathroom also includes a washing machine and tumble dryer, and there is an additional guest toilet.
Enjoy life outside
Just 200 meters from the house lies the beach, making it easy to take a refreshing dip any time of the day – morning, noon, or evening. The enclosed terrace, facing east, south, and west, is a wonderful spot to start the day with a quiet morning coffee, relax throughout the day, and finish with grilled local treats and cozy evening conversations.
As the cherry on top, the summer house features a private hot tub, perfect for recharging and enjoying the calm after a day full of experiences.
Get up close to the local attractions
After soaking up the sun, feeling the breeze, and smelling the salty sea air, it might be time for some variety – and the area around Grenå has plenty to offer.
At Grenå Marina, you’ll find the popular Kattegat Centre – a fascinating experience universe where sharks, seals, and penguins swim close by, sparking curiosity and excitement.
If you venture further, trails and paths lead you into the open landscapes of eastern Jutland. Hop on a bike, lace up your hiking boots, or bring your fishing rod – here you can explore the Mols Route, the Clover Routes, and the Djursland Route, winding through beautiful nature and along the coast.
Grenå Beach, right on your doorstep, is one of Djursland’s absolute best. There’s plenty of space for play and long, lazy beach days, complete with Blue Flag waters, a child-friendly sea, and soft sand under your feet.
For those drawn to dramatic nature and birdlife, Fornæs Lighthouse is just a short trip away – a wild, wind-swept corner of Denmark where the horizon feels endless, and the sea crashes against the cliffs. Further north, Sangstrup Cliff rises dramatically from the coast – a raw, beautiful shoreline where you can find fossils, enjoy the view, and watch birds singing from the cliffs and thickets.
If you fancy a bit of town life, Grenå city center is just a short bike ride away. Here you’ll find a pedestrian street with shops and restaurants – perfect for an ice cream in hand or a little shopping in the sun.
Djursland is full of small and large experiences, whether you’re seeking peace, adventure, culture, shopping, birds of prey, or dining out. Here, it’s easy to feel that the holiday begins right outside your door – and that each day can become a little adventure.
