Get up close to the local attractions
Boeslum Bakker is a scenic, hilly area with views over fields and forests, not far from beautiful sandy beaches. Boeslum Beach captivates visitors with its fine white sand and clear water, which quickly deepens. There are sanitary facilities and an ice cream kiosk on the beach. Your relaxing hours on Boeslum Beach are beautifully complemented by the view of Jernhatten and the small island of Hjelm. A short drive takes you to the historic town of Ebeltoft, where you will find sights such as the old town hall ‘Det Gamle Rådhus’, charming little shops and picturesque cobbled streets with cosy restaurants and cafés. We also recommend a visit to the renowned glass museum in the town's harbour area. The harbour also offers good restaurants and fishmongers for you and your family to enjoy. If you and your loved ones are in the mood for a day trip, we recommend the Kattegatcenter in the port city of Grenaa, about an hour's drive away, where you can get up close to sharks, penguins and other creatures. Djurs Sommerland, the largest amusement park in the north, is also only an hour's drive away and promises lots of fun and excitement for young and old alike.
