Welcome inside

There is plenty of room here for everyone to enjoy time together. With its high ceilings and bright, welcoming at­mosp­he­re, the heart of the holiday home is the spacious open-plan living area, where the kitchen, dining area and lounge flow naturally into one another. Some of you can prepare dinner in the kitchen while others gather around the dining table or relax on the sofa. The wood-burning stove adds an extra touch of cosiness on cooler days when holiday life moves indoors. You can all be together without ne­ces­sa­rily doing the same thing.

The main house has two bedrooms. One is furnished with a double bed, while the other has a family bunk bed with a double bed below and a single bed above. There is also a bathroom.

The two annexes close to the house provide even more space. The larger annex features a spacious family room with both a double bed and a family bunk bed, making it ideal for two families or several ge­ne­ra­tions ho­li­daying together. From here, there is direct access to a large bathroom, where you will also find a washing machine and tumble dryer. The smaller annex is furnished with a large single bed and offers a quiet little retreat whenever you feel like some time to yourself.

Enjoy life outside

When the sun is shining, it is almost im­pos­sib­le to stay indoors. The lovely enclosed garden quickly becomes a natural gathering place for the whole family, and the large lawn offers plenty of space for children to play and everyone to enjoy long days in the open air.

While the children have fun on the swing or play in the sandpit, the adults can find a favourite spot on one of the lovely terraces. The planting along the bo­un­da­ri­es creates a green and inviting setting around the garden, and you will find several cosy corners where you can sit down with a cup of coffee, a good book or simply enjoy the peace and quiet.

This is the perfect setting for long summer days when life moves outdoors, the children play in the garden and everyone gathers on the terrace again when it is time for dinner.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

Fjellerup Strand on the coast of North Djursland is a wonderful choice for those dreaming of a holiday filled with beach days, nature and quality time together. This welcoming seaside holiday area has a fine sandy beach with shallow water, making it par­ti­cu­lar­ly suitable for families with children. The beach has also been awarded Blue Flag status for 2026.

Summer days can easily be spent barefoot in the sand, swimming in the sea and relaxing by the water. At the beach, the Coast and Fjord Centre has a summer base where you can discover fish and crabs and take part in acti­vi­ties focusing on nature and life along the coast.

If you feel like taking a break from the beach, the sur­ro­un­ding area also offers plenty of op­portu­ni­ties to explore on foot or by bike. Fjellerup is sur­ro­un­ded by woodland and varied co­un­trysi­de, and nearby Meilgaard Forest offers marked walking trails and cycling routes.

Fjellerup is also a great base for exploring the rest of Djursland. Take a day trip to Gammel Estrup, enjoy a fun-filled day at Djurs Som­mer­land or discover marine life at the Kattegat Centre. North Djursland also offers fa­sci­nat­ing historic sites and natural at­tra­ctions, including the ancient burial site at Tustrup and the im­pres­si­ve cliffs at Sangstrup.
