House-ID: 84240Welcome inside
Step inside the beautiful and cosy holiday home on Øer Højden - it combines Nordic elegance with warmth and charm. With a unique view of the water, you can spend many hours just sitting and looking out. The bright, open living area with raw cosy corners and modern kitchen invites you to gather and enjoy unforgettable moments. With room for both family and friends, the home offers comfortable seating and smart décor to create a relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel instantly welcome. Once the café atmosphere sets in with a good cup of coffee in hand, you know your holiday has begun. If the kids are allowed in the swimming pool, mum and dad can sit in the same room and relax. They can also enjoy a game of billiards or air hockey, depending on what they fancy.
Enjoy life outside
Outside, you'll find natural beauty all around you from the spacious and sun-drenched terrace - here you can enjoy your daily meals with fresh air and a smile on your face. Bordering forest and field landscapes, the open spaces beckon you to walk, cycle or simply relax. When the sun sets, the barbecue and cosy candles are lit and you can simply sit back and enjoy the long summer evenings. There's room for spontaneous adventures with a good book, a glass of wine or a quiet moment under the stars.
Get up close to the local attractions
The area around Øer is a cosy and popular holiday area close to forest and beach. The beach is characterised by shallow water and sandy beaches. However, the beach can be a mixture of stones and sand in some places. If you're into mountain biking, there is a 13 km long track in the area, which is divided into different levels of difficulty. From the house it's a 5-minute drive to the harbour in Ebeltoft, where you'll find the Glass Museum, a leader in modern glass art. There are also several good places to eat at the harbour and you can always buy freshly caught fish. In Ebeltoft town's cosy cobbled streets, you'll find many exciting shops with e.g. handicrafts and small cosy cafés. There are sights such as the Old Town Hall, where people come from near and far to get married. The Kattegat Centre in Grenaa and Djurs Sommerland, the largest amusement park in the Nordic region, are just an hour's drive from the house. We also recommend a visit to one or more of the many other parks that Djursland has to offer, such as Ree Park, Skandinavisk Dyrepark and last but not least, we recommend a long walk in Mols Bjerge National Park.
