Just 300 metres from the calm waves of the Kattegat, at the end of a gravel path, this cosy holiday home welcomes you, where you will be pampered with plenty of peace and quiet and a view over the landscape. Relax and unwind to the full on your terrace, where you can enjoy extensive sun­bat­hing and cosy barbecues with your loved ones. When darkness falls over the area, make your­sel­ves cosy around the campfire. Meanwhile, your children will love playing in the shelter or spending the night there. Your holiday home welcomes you with a spacious living room that includes a wood-burning stove, a TV and a lovely dining table with space for all your fellow tra­vel­lers. The small but good kitchen will delight you with an exit to the outside. A shower bathroom is available for you and your loved ones. The sleeping areas are divided into two rooms, each with a double bed. From the living room, you step out onto a terrace, which is adjoined by an out­bu­il­ding with two further sleeping areas in the form of two single beds.

Enjoy life outside
Just 300 metres separate your holiday home from a beautiful beach on the shores of the Kattegat, so you can welcome each new day of your holiday with a re­fres­hing dip in the waves. When you return from the beach, the outdoor shower will rinse the sand and salt from your skin. Af­terwards, you can enjoy a hearty breakfast with your loved ones on one of the at­tra­cti­ve terraces. The large property offers plenty of space to run around and play ball games and spoils you with an at­tra­cti­ve view of the sur­ro­un­ding landscape. It is not uncommon to spot wild animals at dawn and dusk. A campfire site and a shelter welcome you in an un­dis­tur­bed, plea­sant­ly sheltered corner of your property. Nothing stands in the way of cosy hours under the twinkling starry sky.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
Elsegårde Strand is an idyllic, quiet pearl that promises the best fishing and swimming in the Kattegat. The beach offers a fantastic view of the beautiful, hi­sto­ri­cal­ly sig­ni­fi­cant island of Hjelm, which was the refuge of Marsk Stig - one of the ma­s­ter­minds behind the as­sas­si­na­tion of King Erik Klipping in 1286. Today, the island is unin­ha­bi­ted but is home to a rich variety of wildlife. Elsegårde Strand is known among anglers as an excellent sea trout spot. Just under six ki­lo­metres separate your holiday home from the old town of Ebeltoft, where you and your family will find many sights such as the old town hall, Det Gamle Rådhus, the famous glass museum and the Malt­fa­brik­ken cultural centre. Stroll through the maritime harbour area and wander through the fairytale old cobbled streets with crooked little houses adorned with hol­lyho­cks. Fun and variety for young and old is gu­a­ran­te­ed with trips to Ree-Park and the largest amusement park in the north, Djurs Som­mer­land. Both are just over half an hour's drive away.
