The bright kitchen/dining/living area features high ceilings, plenty of natural light, and a wood-burning stove that creates a cozy ambiance all year round. From both the kitchen and the living room, you have direct access to the terrace – part of which is covered, so you can enjoy sitting outside even when the weather is a bit chan­geab­le.

With 4 bedrooms – three with double beds and one with a bunk bed – and two bathrooms, one equipped with both a spa and a sauna, there is plenty of space for re­laxa­tion and activity.

Thought­ful details for the whole family

In a small "secret room" you’ll find a handcart, making it easy to bring children and beach gear the few hundred meters down to the beach – or to roll over to the local su­per­mar­ket without having to carry eve­ryt­hing. Here you’ll find a play castle with swings, a sandbox, and fun chal­len­ges for little climbing monkeys who love to get up high and use their bodies. There’s also a football goal, so the whole family can enjoy a lively match in the garden.

To the southwest, there’s a lovely barbecue terrace, which quickly becomes a natural gathering spot for both young and old. Here you can relax with the food on the grill while keeping an eye on the kids and dogs romping on the lawn – all with the sun on your back well into the evening.

The nature around Fjellerup is fantastic and varied, with many hiking trails and small roads perfect for cycling. In spring, you can enjoy fields of yellow rapeseed and the most beautiful light green leafy forests. There are great op­portu­ni­ties for fishing, and many children love to catch crabs.

For an exciting day trip, you can visit Mejlgård Castle, the stone dolmens at Tustrup, and the Old Estrup Agri­cul­tu­ral Museum. From the holiday home, it’s only about a 15-minute drive to Djurs Som­mer­land, the largest amusement park in the Nordic countries, which keeps sur­pri­sing visitors with new at­tra­ctions. Here the family can get the adre­na­li­ne pumping while also enjoying many child-friendly acti­vi­ties.

Within a half-hour’s drive, you can reach the charming market town of Grenaa, where you can visit the Kattegat Centre with sharks, penguins, and seals – an exciting ex­pe­ri­en­ce for children. If you’re willing to drive an hour, you can go to Randers, where you can explore the Elvis Museum and Randers Ra­in­fo­rest, or visit Ebeltoft and Mols Bjerge in the southern part of Djursland.
