The bright and well-equipped kitchen is open to the living area, so you can spend time together even when doing different things. In the middle of the kitchen, there's a cooking island with bar stools – a lovely gathering spot where you can read the newspaper on a quiet morning or keep the chefs company while delicious holiday meals are prepared. The dining table sits in a cosy bay window nook, right next to the wood-burning stove, adding warmth and a gentle crackle as you enjoy your meals.

If you're in need of a little extra pampering, look forward to the house's wellness area with a hot tub, sauna, and shower – perfect after a swim in the sea, a windy walk, or a snowy winter day.

The house has five bedrooms – three with double beds upstairs and two on the ground floor, one with a double bed and the other with a bunk bed. With bathrooms on both floors, it's easy to stay here with extended family, friends, or across ge­ne­ra­tions.

You’ll love the activity room where you can challenge each other to foosball, billiards, or darts. It’s located right next to the bunk bedroom, so the kids can move freely between games and giggles.

There’s also a practical utility room for added con­ve­ni­en­ce.

The kids can play freely on the lawn, jump on the tram­po­li­ne, or build sandcast­les in the sandbox while you light the bonfire for cosy bread-on-a-stick evenings.

In a peaceful corner of the garden, you’ll find sun loungers – perfect for enjoying a good book or a quiet nap in the sun. And from the large upstairs bedroom, there’s direct access to a spacious wooden terrace with lounge furniture – the ideal spot for your morning coffee, a sunny break, or a glass of wine at dusk.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

Fjellerup Strand is located in one of North Djursland’s most beloved holiday areas – a beautiful place where peace, nature, and proximity to the sea go hand in hand. The wide, child-friendly beach has shallow water, soft sand, and the coveted Blue Flag, ensuring clean and safe con­di­tions – perfect for a full day of swimming, beach games, and sun-soaked re­laxa­tion.

The sur­ro­un­ding nature is varied and stunning. You can follow winding paths through rolling fields, leafy forests, and golden rapeseed fields – ideal for hiking and cycling ad­ven­tu­res. And along the coast, you’ll find excellent fishing spots if you’ve packed your rod.

There’s plenty to discover in the area. Visit the im­pres­si­ve Mejlgård Castle, explore the ancient stone dolmens at Tustrup, or dive into history at the Gl. Estrup Manor Museum. And don’t miss the famous ice cream shop in Fjellerup, known for its giant cones – some say they’re the best in Denmark!

If you're craving a bit more exci­te­ment, Djurs Som­mer­land amusement park is just 15 minutes away – a top-class desti­na­tion for the whole family. In just half an hour, you can reach the town of Grenaa, where you can shop, enjoy a nice lunch, or go on an un­derwa­ter adventure among sharks, seals, and penguins at the Kattegat Centre.
