Welcome inside

A place with room for laughter, long evenings, and a few uneven angles

This is not a perfect, polished holiday home – but what you get instead is plenty of space, atmosphere, and cosy holiday charm.

Three houses sit close together, creating a lovely shared outdoor space – a bit like a relaxed summer camp for family and friends. It quickly feels like your own private “camp”, where you can spend time together without constantly being on top of each other. Perfect for large families, multiple generations, or groups of friends who want to share the holiday experience while still having their own little base.

House 1 is the largest, and this is where you naturally gather. There is a spacious living room with sofas, TV, and a large dining table where everyone can come together for long dinners, card games, and stories that continue late into the evening. The kitchen is big and red with lots of personality, and from here you have access to a small conservatory with a single bed – perfect for an afternoon nap or an extra overnight guest. The house also offers two comfortable bedrooms with double beds and an older bathroom that works exactly as it should – no fuss, just practical.

House number 2 is the smaller, practical base with one large bedroom featuring a double bed and a sofa bed suitable for children, plus its own toilet.

In the third house, you will find two additional bedrooms with double beds, a lovely bathroom, and a cosy kitchenette with cooking hobs, fridge, and electric kettle – ideal for a quiet morning coffee if the baby wakes up early or if you simply need a little peaceful time away from the group.

This is the place for those who value togetherness over perfection. Where things are allowed to feel a little imperfect, as long as the atmosphere stays warm, relaxed, and welcoming.

Enjoy life outside

Between the three houses, you have your very own little camp area where everyone naturally gathers – and that is exactly what gives this place its unique and informal atmosphere.

The camp area features a lovely barbecue terrace with an outdoor kitchen, becoming the natural spot where you cook together, let conversations flow freely, and allow meals to last a little longer than planned.

Challenge each other to a game of darts to decide who does the dishes after dinner, or grab a beer at the bar while watching the final kilometres of the day’s Tour de France stage.

The whole garden is fenced in and the lawn stretches out between bushes and trees, giving you both open spaces for games and play as well as cosy corners for peace and quiet. Here, you can explore, play ball games, and maybe even pick fresh herbs while the dogs relax under a shady tree.

Get up close to the local attractions

When staying here, you have the perfect base for some of the biggest attractions on Djursland – all within a short driving distance, making it easy to fill your days with adventures for both children and adults.

Close to the house lies Bønnerup Strand, an old fishing village where you can watch the fishing boats in the harbour and buy fresh fish from the famous local fish shop. There are benches along the harbour, lovely restaurants, and a beautiful beach for swimming.

Enjoy laughter and adrenaline rushes at Djurs Sommerland – the largest amusement park in the Nordic region, famous for introducing exciting new rides year after year. If you are more fascinated by life beneath the sea, Kattegatcentret awaits with sharks, seals, and close-up underwater experiences.

The wildlife adventures continue at Ree Park Safari, where you can get close to wild animals from around the world – or visit Skandinavisk Dyrepark, where large natural areas and Nordic animals create a calm and authentic safari atmosphere.

For a more nostalgic and unique experience, you can visit Elvis Presley Museum Randers, where the music and history of Elvis live on in authentic surroundings. Nearby, you will also find the tropical world of Randers Regnskov, where you can explore exotic animals, humid rainforest air, and lush nature – right in the middle of Denmark.

All together, this gives you a holiday where you can combine relaxed days in your holiday home with memorable adventures just around the corner – perfect for those who want togetherness, nature, and experiences all in one place.
