Three terrace doors open up the room to the outdoors and make it easy to drift in and out between the house, the garden, and the annex.

Sleeping ar­ran­ge­ments are thought­ful­ly laid out: a bedroom with a double bed for slow mornings, a cozy room with a bunk bed – with an extra-wide lower bunk – and a charming loft with two quality mattres­ses and a skylight with a curtain, perfect for older children or teenagers. In the annex, you’ll find a sofa bed – ideal for guests or a teenager who’d enjoy a bit of privacy.

Enjoy life outside

The garden is pea­ce­ful­ly enclosed by a beautiful wooden fence, creating a private and relaxing holiday vibe – perfect for barefoot days and plenty of fresh air. There’s a grassy lawn where children can kick the ball around all day long while laughter fills the garden and the football goal sees plenty of action.

Two spacious terraces – one facing east, the other west – mean you can follow the sun from sunrise to sunset. Enjoy your morning coffee in the soft morning light, relax over lunch, and end the day with grilled dinners and cozy evenings wrapped in blankets under the open sky. As the sun sets and the evening dew settles, there’s no better place to be than right here, with a glass of wine and the quiet hum of a Danish summer evening.

Just a short walk from the holiday home, you'll find Grenaa Marina, home to the popular Kat­te­gat­cen­tret – a fa­sci­nat­ing un­derwa­ter world where sharks, seals, and penguins swim close by and spark both curiosity and delight.

Footpaths and cycling routes lead you straight into the open East Jutland landscape. Hop on a bike, lace up your hiking boots or grab a fishing rod – explore the Mols Route, the Clover Trails, and the Djursland Route as they wind through scenic nature and along the coast.

Grenaa Beach, right outside your door, is one of Djursland’s absolute best – with soft sand, Blue Flag waters, and child-friendly waves, it’s the perfect spot for play, re­laxa­tion, and long, lazy beach days.

If you’re drawn to dramatic landsca­pes and birdlife, Fornæs Ligh­t­hou­se is just a short trip away – a wild and windswept corner of Denmark, where the horizon stretches endlessly and the sea crashes against the rocks. A little further north, the cliffs of Sangstrup rise dra­ma­ti­cal­ly from the coastline – a raw and beautiful stretch of nature where you can hunt for fossils, enjoy sweeping views, and listen to the birds calling from cliff and scrub.
