The house is located in a beautiful natural area in Mols Bjerge National Park in a child-friendly area with good trail systems and close to a child-friendly beach. The hilly terrain is ideal for cycling and hiking.
Ebeltoft town with its many tourist attractions is not far away. Here you will find e.g. The old town hall is a popular excursion destination and at the harbour you'll find the Glass Museum, which is a leader in modern glass art.
A 15-minute drive from the house you'll find Reepark, where you can get up close to the wild animals. The Kattegat Centre in Grenaa and Djurs Sommerland, the largest amusement park in the Nordic region, are about half an hour's drive away.

TIPS for your holiday:
Bathing:
Just below the house is a great place to swim. There is usually a small path cleared into the water so you can walk past the stones on a sandy bottom.
You can also swim from all three visible jetties - have fun 😊
Café/eateries:
There are several good cafés and restaurants nearby - a special tip would be to enjoy breakfast (they open at 10am) at L'abacate. Take your bikes along the water to the west. About 2 kilometres down the road you'll find them at the roundabout. They have the most delicious bread and coffee and also sell bread out of the shop.
Looking for a cosy atmosphere and a pint in the sun? Then the outdoor seating at Maltfabrikken is fantastic. It's often full of atmosphere, live music and lots of people.
And if you haven't already tried the cream puffs from Usædvanlige Flødeboller, you should visit them too.
Surfing:
Blue Spirit can help you on the water, almost any kind of surfing you want. We've used them ourselves and have had the whole family, including our youngest son aged 11, on the water - it's a great experience for both boys and girls and requires no prior knowledge or equipment.

Fish:
The fish shop is located at the harbour. There are always plenty of delicious products, but there are also often a lot of customers, so you'll be queuing for a long time. Come early in the day - that's when the queue is shortest and you get the biggest selection 😉
