Recommendations from Holiday home owner

❤ Welcome to my lovely summer house.

I bought my parents' lovely summer house in Grenå in 2020. My mother and father bought the house in 1993. Now, 27 years later, I have bought it. It has been really important to me to create a place that feels homely and cozy. A place that exudes peace and relaxation and where light can shine in.

I have tried to find my style, with respect for the ‘old’, by retaining details and things in the house, and combining memories with new things, just in new combinations. I have also been inspired by the charm and colors of Denmark's beautiful old seaside hotels.

It really is a wonderful place to be, and I enjoy it so much when it is not rented out.

The house is close to the most beautiful beach with dunes and a view of the water. To get to the beach, you walk along the small paths in the dunes and are there in a few minutes.

The summer house is located on the most beautiful road with so many charming houses.

When the weather is nice, it is wonderful to sit on the terrace and enjoy the view of the sea, listen to the waves, watch the ships sail by, and later in the day, I enjoy the sunset on the small covered terrace at the back of the house.

I really enjoy walking in the summer house area, on the beautiful beach, going to the plantation where it is so beautiful with alternating forests and large heathland areas, and there are both hiking trails and bike paths. Take a break by the mirror-like forest lake or have a few hours of fun at the nature playground close to the summer house—the Kattegat Museum and marina are close to the summer house.

I also often take the lovely walk along the stream up to the town and enjoy the cozy Grenå with its beautiful church in the center.
