The holiday home is set on a beautiful plot where nature truly takes centre stage. The beach is just about 400 metres away, making it easy to start your day with a re­fres­hing morning dip.

The plot is a charming, lightly tamed forest setting, where the lovely trees still define the at­mosp­he­re, while selective clearing allows sunlight to stream in, creating a special sense of calm and closeness to nature.

Around the holiday home, you’ll find several de­light­ful terraces facing east, west, and south, so you can almost always find a sunny spot. Some of the terraces are partially covered, allowing you to enjoy outdoor living even when the evening dew settles or a light summer shower passes by. Perfect for long, relaxed days filled with good food, cold drinks, and cosy moments under the open sky.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

Just a short walk from the holiday home lies Fjellerup Strand – a wonderful beach where dunes and small hollows provide shelter from the wind and create the perfect setting for a day by the sea. The whole family can enjoy the child-friendly Blue Flag beach, with shallow waters and a soft, inviting sandy bottom.

The old fishing village is full of charm and offers beautiful, varied nature just waiting to be explored – whether you prefer hiking, cycling, or a quiet moment with a fishing rod in hand.

Buy fresh fish for the grill from the local fisherman, enjoy a lovely lunch at Madam Blå, treat yourself to one of the large ice creams Fjellerup is famous for, or shop at the local grocery store, which is open all year round.

The sur­ro­un­ding area also offers plenty of exciting ex­pe­ri­en­ces, depending on what you’re in the mood for. Take a stroll through Fjellerup village and stop by the small, charming local church.

Djursland has something for everyone – amusement parks, wildlife parks, outdoor ad­ven­tu­res, castles, music, markets, vibrant towns, golf, great food, and museums. And if you’re craving city life, both Randers and Aarhus are just about an hour’s drive away.
