Get up close to the local attractions
The area around Egsmark Strand is a cosy and popular holiday destination close to the beach. The beach is characterised by shallow water and sand. However, in some places, the beach can be a mixture of stones and sand. If you enjoy mountain biking, there is a 13 km long trail in the area, which is divided into different levels of difficulty. From the house, it is about a 10-minute drive to the harbour in Ebeltoft, where you will find the Glass Museum, which is a leader in modern glass art. The harbour also has several good restaurants, and you can always buy freshly caught fish. In the charming cobbled streets of Ebeltoft, you will find many exciting shops selling arts and crafts, as well as small, cosy cafés. Here you will also find the town's most visited attraction, the Old Town Hall, where people come from near and far to get married. From the house, it is less than an hour's drive to the Kattegat Centre in Grenaa and the Nordic region's largest amusement park, Djurs Sommerland. We also recommend a visit to one or more of the many other parks that Djursland has to offer, such as Ree Park, Scandinavian Wildlife Park and, last but not least, we recommend a long walk in Mols Bjerge National Park.
