Welcome to an older and nostalgic holiday home, where classic holiday home at­mosp­he­re meets modern furniture and light details inspired by seaside hotel style. You will still find clear traces of the original house, and this gives your holiday an authentic and relaxed setting where it is easy to unwind. You notice what makes the house truly special as soon as you look outside. The sea is with you eve­rywhe­re. When you stand in the kitchen peeling potatoes for dinner, you can let your gaze drift out over the water. When you sit at the dining table, the view becomes part of the meal. And when you relax in the living room, the coast is always part of the at­mosp­he­re. The living room, dining area and kitchen are gathered in one large, bright and lovely room, where holiday days can be enjoyed at a calm pace with the sea as a backdrop. The holiday home has two large bedrooms, one of which is furnished with a double bed and two bunk beds, while the other has a double bed and a single bed. In addition, there is a bathroom and a spacious entrance hall with room for beach bags, shoes and eve­ryt­hing that belongs to a holiday by the sea.

Enjoy life outside

Outside, the kind of location that most of us dream about is waiting for you. The holiday home is set on a beach plot with heather and rose hips, and there are only 60 metres until you can dip your feet in the water. When you open the door, the sea air flows in, and you can fully enjoy the feeling of being right by the coast. From the terrace, you have an unob­structed view of the sea, and the day can begin with the sunrise in the east while your coffee steams in the cup. Later, you can follow the light across the water and end the day with the sunset in the west over the sea. It is nothing less than fantastic. Behind the house, you will find a lovely south facing terrace, where you can enjoy the sun and shelter during the day, and there is also a lawn as well as good parking fa­ci­li­ties. This is a place where your holiday is all about the scent of the sea, the view, walks to the beach and those little moments that stay with you long after you have returned home.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

Fjellerup Strand is an old fishing village which, over the years, has developed into an at­tra­cti­ve holiday home area on the coast of North Djursland. Here you will find tennis and padel courts, local history exhi­bi­tions, and the grocery store is open all year round. The beach is very child friendly, with lovely shallow water and a sandy seabed, and it has a Blue Flag. The nature along and behind the north coast is won­der­ful­ly varied. Countless small paths and trails cris­scross the landscape, ideal for beautiful walks and cycling trips. Anglers enjoy the area, and windsur­fers are almost magically drawn to Fjellerup Strand. In the harbour area and in town, you will find re­stau­rants and a very popular ice cream shop selling huge ice cream cones. Visit the beautiful Meilgård Manor, where you can enjoy culinary treats at the manor inn. The hi­sto­ri­cal­ly important stone chambers at Tustrup and the so called dolmens are also well worth seeing. When you bring little guests on holiday, they will certainly enjoy an exciting day at the amusement park Djurs Som­mer­land, which is only 15 minutes away. Within half an hour by car, you can also reach popular children’s at­tra­ctions such as Skan­di­na­visk Dyrepark, Kyst og Fjord­cen­tret and the exciting Kat­te­gat­cen­tret in Grenaa. And then, of course, there is the entire southern part of Djursland, which should not be forgotten.
