This charming and well-kept family holiday home offers a bright and friendly at­mosp­he­re, so the holiday feeling arrives quickly. At the heart of the house is the well-equipped kitchen with induction hobs, where the aroma of freshly prepared meals fills the air as the family gathers around the dining table. The kitchen flows naturally into the living room, furnished in a light holiday-home style with dining area, cosy seating, TV, and a wood-burning stove. The gentle crackle of the fire creates a special at­mosp­he­re when the evening turns cool.

The house has three bedrooms – two with double beds and one with bunk beds, where children can safely drift off to sleep after a day full of play and ad­ven­tu­res. There is also a double sofa bed in the living room, which is a great al­ter­na­ti­ve to the bunk beds. In addition to a guest toilet, there is a larger bathroom with a spa. In the sauna, you can feel the warmth spread through your body and let peace and re­laxa­tion settle in after an active day.

Enjoy life outside

The grounds sur­ro­un­ding the holiday home invite both play and re­laxa­tion. The large, fenced garden provides a safe setting where children can run free. There’s a playhouse, swings, slide, and seesaw animals – plenty of acti­vi­ties to fill the day with laughter and fun. On the green lawn, there is also ample space for ball games, sun­bat­hing, or a quiet moment with a book.

When you want shade or prefer to enjoy meals outdoors, the covered terrace is the perfect place to gather. Here you can fire up the grill, and around the fire pit, evenings can be extended with warmth and cosy moments. After a re­fres­hing dip in the sea, the outdoor shower is a wonderful spot to rinse off salt and sand before returning to the garden.

Just 500 metres from the house, Fjellerup Beach awaits with its bathing jetty – perfect for starting the day with a morning swim or taking an evening stroll along the shore while the sun sets on the horizon.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

Fjellerup Beach is a charming old fishing village that has grown into a popular holiday area on the North Djursland coast. The beach is child-friendly with shallow water, a Blue Flag, and soft sandy seabed, making it safe for the whole family to enjoy a swim. Behind the beach, you’ll find small dunes and cosy paths that give the area an authentic and tranquil at­mosp­he­re.

The nature around Fjellerup is both beautiful and varied. You can follow winding walking trails through forests and fields or cycle along the small country roads that weave through the landscape. Spring is espe­ci­al­ly en­chan­ting, when the rapeseed fields shine bright yellow and the deciduous forests unfold in the loveliest light green colours. Anglers will also find plenty of good spots along the coast.

The area offers many family-friendly at­tra­ctions. Set out on an adventure in the Scan­di­navi­an Wildlife Park, explore marine life at the Kattegat Centre, or visit the Coast and Fjord Centre, where young and old alike can ex­pe­ri­en­ce nature up close. From the house, it’s only a 15-minute drive to Scan­di­navia’s largest amusement park, Djurs Som­mer­land, and half an hour to Grenaa with its cosy cafés and shops.

Within an hour’s drive, you can also explore the southern gems of Djursland, such as Ebeltoft and the Mols Bjerge National Park – or visit Aarhus, Jutland’s vibrant capital, brimming with culture, shopping, and ex­pe­ri­en­ces.
