The bright and open-plan layout combines the kitchen, dining area and living room, so you can enjoy cosy moments together on holiday. There’s space for cooking together, playing games at the table and relaxing on the sofa.
The holiday home features several good-sized bedrooms and bathrooms, making it ideal for larger families or multiple generations holidaying together. Here, you’ll find both space for togetherness and the chance to retreat.
Enjoy life outdoors
Outside, a lovely plot awaits in peaceful surroundings, where you can enjoy your holiday at your own pace. The terrace invites you to spend long, relaxed days with morning coffee in the sun and cosy dinners under the open sky.
There’s plenty of space for play and relaxation – the children can run about whilst you enjoy the peace and fresh air.
On warm days, the terrace quickly becomes the gathering spot, where you can fire up the barbecue and enjoy the long summer evenings. And after an active day, you can return to the house and treat yourself to a session in the spa or sauna.
Get a taste of local life
The holiday home is situated in the attractive area around Lyngsbæk, close to Ebeltoft, where you’re just a short distance from the beach, nature and the charming town centre. Here you can go for a swim, take walks along the coast or simply enjoy the view of the water.
In Ebeltoft, you’ll find cobbled streets, small specialist shops and cafés that create an authentic holiday atmosphere. The town also offers exciting experiences for both children and adults.
If you love nature, Mols Bjerge National Park is right nearby. Here you can experience a truly unique landscape with hills, trails and fantastic views – perfect for both walking and cycling.

Welcome to our holiday home at Engbakken 14 in Ebeltoft
We are delighted that you have chosen our holiday home, and we hope you will have a wonderful holiday.
For us, the holiday home is all about completely switching off and relaxing in the middle of the beautiful nature of Djursland. Here, there is room for both peace and quiet and great experiences.
During the summer, we love taking a trip to the beach, where the water is wonderful and you can walk quite far out before it gets deep. We also enjoy spending time outdoors on the large grounds, playing the various games and enjoying the warm summer evenings on the terrace. We have provided outdoor games in the playhouse as well as indoor games in the cupboard in the hallway between the bunk room and the kitchen, so please feel free to use them.
In autumn and winter, it is wonderful to come home after a long, refreshing walk along Lyngsbæk Strand and turn on the pool room, where the hot tub and sauna will quickly warm you up again. And if you are not in the mood for a sauna, it is also lovely to light the wood-burning stove and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate or coffee on the sofa in front of the fire.
We have placed a basket with blankets in the house, and you are very welcome to use them.
We love taking a trip into Ebeltoft, strolling through its charming cobbled streets and browsing the many speciality shops.
We especially enjoy visiting the ice cream shop by the Fregatten Jylland museum ship. Their ice cream – especially the soft-serve – is fantastic, and you really get great value for money.
A quick visit to the fishmonger at the harbour is also something we highly recommend, followed by a visit to Walter, where you will find a wonderful selection of wines and speciality foods.
If you would prefer not to take the car, we can highly recommend Huset Frost Café & Butik, which is within walking distance. Simply walk down to Strandvejen and turn right, then continue towards the roundabout at Femmøller. Huset Frost is located right next to Molskroen. Here, you can enjoy a cup of coffee and a delicious cake or a lovely lunch. They also have a wonderful selection of things in the shop, where you will almost always find something tempting.
If you are travelling with children, a day trip to Djurs Sommerland, Scandinavian Animal Park or Ree Park Safari is an absolute must. They are all located within a short drive of our holiday home.
We also think mini golf is great fun and highly recommend the mini golf course at Ebeltoft Strand Camping.
And don't miss a trip to Mols Bjerge National Park, which is right nearby and offers some of the most beautiful hiking routes in Denmark.
If you are in the mood for a city trip, Aarhus is not far away and is definitely worth a visit.

A few requests from us to you
Please feel free to air out the pool room by opening the two windows at either end. You will notice a much better indoor climate when the room has been aired out, and it is also good for the house.
We kindly ask you to use your common sense and take care of everything as if it were your own.
If anything accidentally gets broken, please let us know. That way, we can have it replaced before the next guests arrive.
