Welcome inside

As you arrive at the holiday home, you immediately feel that special sense of vacation ease. The tastefully decorated wooden house is bright, welcoming, and full of colors that create calm and a true holiday atmosphere. It’s easy to settle in here, take a deep breath, and feel that sense of freedom – exactly what a holiday home should give you.

The enclosed country kitchen is the heart of the house in the mornings. Brew your coffee while sunlight streams through the stable door that opens onto the terrace. The gas stove makes cooking a pleasure, and the charming Smeg refrigerator is ready with cold drinks to take outside and enjoy in the fresh air.

From the kitchen, you move into the large living room, designed for holiday life at any pace. In the center of the room stands the wood-burning stove, spreading warmth on cool evenings. Around it are two inviting sofa corners – perfect for relaxing, having good conversations, or enjoying a quiet moment with a book. Two dining tables offer plenty of space for meals and long board game evenings, and a small table tennis table is ready to spark laughter and friendly competitions. The terrace door leads out to the large covered terrace, where you can enjoy meals in shelter, even if the weather changes.

The three bedrooms are cozy and charming, each with its own character. One features a spacious king-size double bed, and two have single beds (note that the single beds are 195 cm long). Here, you can retreat after a long day and wake up to birdsong and holiday peace.

The bathroom is practical and bright with a shower, and the connecting hallway naturally links the rooms, giving access to the bedrooms, bathroom, and front door.
Enjoy life outside
Just 250 meters from the beach, the house sits safely surrounded by large, beautiful trees that provide shelter without blocking the sun from the house or terraces. The property stretches across several levels, so you’ll constantly discover new little corners to settle into and enjoy the tranquility.

On the garden side, you’ll find a large covered terrace overlooking the green lawn – perfect for long meals, summer games, and relaxing in the shade when the afternoon sun is high. In front of the house, a cozy terrace awaits, ideal for morning coffee, and around the property, several small sunny spots invite quiet moments, a good book, or a little nap in the warmth.

All in all, the grounds offer plenty of space, light, and the freedom to choose exactly the corner that suits your mood – whether you seek sun, shade, or a quiet pause among the trees.

Get up close to the local attractions

Hegedal Beach is a quiet, somewhat hidden extension of Fjellerup Beach. Here you’ll find a family-friendly beach with shallow, clear water, soft sand, and plenty of space to splash, play, and enjoy the summer day in peace.

Fjellerup is an old fishing village full of character, now developed into an inviting and lively holiday destination along Norddjursland’s beautiful coast. The nature along the northern coast is wonderfully varied, and behind the beach lies a network of small trails winding through the landscape – perfect for active holiday days with walks, bike rides, or a gentle stroll in the fresh sea air. Windsurfers are also drawn to the area, where wind and water often come together in perfect harmony.

You might be lucky enough to catch a fish, but if not, fresh fish is always available locally. The area also offers excellent restaurants and a nearly legendary ice cream shop beloved by both locals and visitors.

Norddjursland’s northern coast is rich in charming manors, castles, monasteries, and churches. The historic stone dolmens at Tustrup offer a fascinating glimpse into ancient times, and the dramatic cliffs at Karlby and Sangstrup feature fossils and gunshot marks from historical battles. Children will love the amusement parks and animal parks, including Djurs Sommerland, the Scandinavian Wildlife Park, Kattegat Center, and the Fjord and Coast Center.
