The house contains a bright living room, cosily furnished with a dining area, large open and functional kitchen. From the family room, there are terrace doors leading out to the fantastic terrace, where there is a cosy corner, space to eat and barbecue. The house has sleeping arrangements in 4 bedrooms and a bathroom, as well as a sauna. There is free firewood for the house's wood-burning stove.

The house is beautifully situated in a high location with a great view of the island of Hjelm. You have a private staircase from the plot down to the sea. Part of the terrace is covered so you can sit here and enjoy yourself even when the weather is not so good. The barbecue allows you to cook outdoors and the whole family can sit and eat the delicious food, both inside and out. There's also a garden for games and play, so the sky's the limit when it comes to what to do on an unforgettable holiday.
Get up close to the local attractions
Holme Strand is located in a beautiful natural area with a view of the 49-metre-high Jernhatten. At Jernhatten you can find rare plants and experience rich wildlife. A walk along the sea by the cliff is a beautiful nature experience. The beach is popular with anglers as it's easy to bring a boat and launch it into the water. From Holme Strand it's a short 15-minute drive to Ebeltoft Town, known for its many tourist attractions, quirky old houses and cobbled streets. You might want to visit the old town hall, Det Gamle Rådhus, where people come from far and wide to get married. Ree-park is 8 kilometres from the house, where you can experience wild animals up close. Djurs Sommerland, the largest amusement park in the Nordic region, is an hour's drive away with fun rides for both young and old. For those who want to meet the big sharks, a visit to the Kattegat Centre in Grenaa is a must, just half an hour's drive from the house.

We have named the house “Viva la Vida,” which means “live life,” as that is exactly the feeling that welcomes you here. The holiday home is situated high and undisturbed at the end of a փակ road, surrounded by an oasis of old trees. Almost wherever you are—inside or outside—you are met with a breathtaking 180-degree sea view that helps you relax and truly unwind.
The day begins with a picturesque sunrise. A path leads you directly to the beach, where a refreshing run or walk can be followed by your first swim of the day. In good weather, we enjoy all our meals on the terraces, accompanied by the soothing sound of the waves, and there is also a lovely barbecue area. The surroundings invite both relaxation and play. We like to bring our bicycles, as the area offers many small roads and scenic cycling routes.
Ebeltoft is only 5 km away, with its charming streets and many cultural attractions. Before heading back, we often visit the harbor’s fish market, which offers a wide selection of fresh produce. Ebeltoft Gårdbryggeri and Jernhatten are also well worth a visit. Within walking distance, you can pick up freshly baked morning bread from Ellen’s Have.
