The heart of the house is the open-plan living space with a well-equipped kitchen and a cosy coffee island – perfect for slow mornings and shared cooking ex­pe­ri­en­ces. There’s plenty of space at the dining table and a com­fortab­le sofa area, where you can curl up in front of the wood-burning stove on cooler evenings. A TV in the living room and in every bedroom ensures that everyone can enjoy their favourite series or a family movie night.

The house includes four lovely bedrooms and two bathrooms for top-notch comfort. In addition, a charming annex offers three extra sleeping places – ideal for teenagers, older kids or grand­pa­rents. A practical utility room with washer and dryer makes everyday holiday life that much easier.

Fjellerup Strand is a scenic old fishing village, nestled in one of North Djursland’s most popular holiday spots – right by the beautiful coast. With its Blue Flag status, the beach is ideal for families, offering shallow and calm waters, soft sand, small dunes and charming little paths – perfect for sunny play and peaceful re­laxa­tion.

The sur­ro­un­ding nature is won­der­ful­ly varied. In spring, golden rapeseed fields stretch across the landscape, and small paths wind through bright green beech forests. Quiet country roads offer great cycling routes with views of both fields and sea. Along the coast, anglers will find fantastic fishing op­portu­ni­ties and tranquil sur­ro­un­dings.

There’s no shortage of exciting outings nearby. Visit the im­pres­si­ve Mejlgård Castle or explore the ancient stone burial sites at Tustrup, where pre­hi­sto­ric history is written in the landscape. Gl. Estrup Manor and Agri­cul­tu­ral Museum offers fun and learning for the whole family.
