Fjellerup Strand is a scenic old fishing village, nestled in one of North Djursland’s most popular holiday spots – right by the beautiful coast. With its Blue Flag status, the beach is ideal for families, offering shallow and calm waters, soft sand, small dunes and charming little paths – perfect for sunny play and peaceful relaxation.
The surrounding nature is wonderfully varied. In spring, golden rapeseed fields stretch across the landscape, and small paths wind through bright green beech forests. Quiet country roads offer great cycling routes with views of both fields and sea. Along the coast, anglers will find fantastic fishing opportunities and tranquil surroundings.
There’s no shortage of exciting outings nearby. Visit the impressive Mejlgård Castle or explore the ancient stone burial sites at Tustrup, where prehistoric history is written in the landscape. Gl. Estrup Manor and Agricultural Museum offers fun and learning for the whole family.
