Welcome inside

Step into this cozy holiday home, where colors, charm, and originality come together in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Everything here is well-maintained, personal, and full of character – a place where you can leave the everyday behind and let your holiday take over.

The living room invites you to relax with soft, colorful furniture and a sofa bed, perfect if you are more than the four people the bedrooms accommodate. In the middle of the room stands the wood-burning stove, ready to bring warmth and a cozy atmosphere when you light it with the provided free firewood.

The kitchen is bright and functional, and through the charming stable door, you step directly into the beautiful garden. Here, mornings can start with coffee in the sun, lunch can be enjoyed under the open sky, and evenings can drift by peacefully with your eyes on the sky and the sounds of the garden around you.

The holiday home has two lovely bedrooms with double beds, and the bathroom with retro green fixtures and a shower adds a fun and charming twist to the house’s original style.

There is neither internet nor TV – and that is exactly what makes this place special. Without digital distractions, you can experience the holiday in a completely different way: read in the sun, have long conversations, play games, enjoy time with the children, or simply listen to the wind and the gentle sound of the sea. This is a holiday home where presence, peace, and small, unforgettable moments can fill your days.

Enjoy life outside

The plot is a little adventure close to the beach. Just 700 meters from Fjellerup Beach lies this fun and slightly unusual plot, where both children and adults can let their imagination run free. Think of it as a little troll forest, full of trees, cozy seating areas, and green lawns perfect for ball games and hide-and-seek.

A small hill on the property invites children to play, while adults can retreat to the deck chair to enjoy the sun, listen to the birds in the treetops, or lose themselves in a good book.

There is a practical outdoor sink, perfect for rinsing swimwear after a trip to the beach, cleaning fish, or washing up after a barbecue. Relax by the fire pit and let the day end with toasted bread, marshmallows, and quiet conversations under the stars.

Get up close to the local attractions

Fjellerup Beach is a historic fishing village located in an attractive holiday area on the North Djursland coast. The beach is wide, child-friendly, and has shallow water with soft sand, and it has been awarded the Blue Flag. Here you can enjoy the idyllic dunes, small lanes, and the peaceful atmosphere, perfect for both play, relaxation, and long walks along the shore.

The nature in and around Fjellerup is diverse and stunning. The area offers many walking paths and small roads, ideal for cycling and strolling, and in spring, the landscape comes alive with golden rapeseed fields and fresh, light green forests. Along the coast, there are also excellent opportunities for recreational fishing, if you want to combine relaxation with a little adventure.

Fjellerup is close to several exciting attractions. You can visit Mejlgård Castle, explore the impressive stone graves at Tustrup, or discover Gl. Estrup Agricultural Museum. For families with children, Scandinavia’s largest amusement park, Djurs Sommerland, is only about a 15-minute drive away. If you enjoy city life and aquariums, the charming town of Grenå is nearby, where you can meet sharks at the Kattegat Center.

For further exploration, Ebeltoft and Mols Bjerge lie about an hour’s drive south, while Denmark’s vibrant city of Aarhus is also within reach. Djursland offers experiences for every taste – from nature and historic sights to fun activities and cultural attractions – making your holiday varied, memorable, and full of adventure.
