Welcome inside

Rødhus is known for its vast and striking landscape, and inside this summer house you truly feel close to nature, with views straight out over heather, marram grass and sand dunes. The classic summer house style fits perfectly into the sur­ro­un­dings, with vaulted ceilings, wooden walls and cosy fur­nis­hin­gs creating a relaxed and authentic at­mosp­he­re. There’s no un­ne­ces­sary luxury here – just comfort, sim­pli­ci­ty and plenty of space to enjoy time together.

The house offers a total of 100 well-di­stri­bu­ted square metres, including a living room, kitchen, utility room and two bathrooms. There are four bedrooms in total: three with double beds and one with two single beds, making it ideal for families or friends tra­vel­ling together.

Enjoy life outside

The summer house sits on a very large natural plot, where soft, rolling dunes naturally shelter the house from its sur­ro­un­dings. Close to the house, you can relax in the garden furniture – perhaps in the shade under the parasol or with the grill fired up for a cosy evening meal. If you’d rather take in the wider view, head up to the scenic bench on the plot, where you can look out across the landscape and enjoy the beautiful sunset.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

Hjelmevej is a small, closed road with just a handful of summer houses, all blending beau­ti­ful­ly into the landscape with turf roofs and dark wooden façades. Nature is very much the focal point here, and it feels special to stay in such peaceful sur­ro­un­dings so close to the west coast.

From the house, it’s less than a kilometre to the North Sea and the wide sandy beach, and while the popular Blokhus Beach is only seven ki­lo­metres away, there’s a good chance you can enjoy a re­fres­hing dip here in complete tranquil­li­ty. At the same time, it’s nice to have Blokhus town within easy reach if you feel like dining out or shopping. With at­tra­ctions such as Anne Just’s Garden, the Sculpture Park and the Museum for Paper Art nearby, there are also plenty of op­portu­ni­ties to add cultural ex­pe­ri­en­ces to your holiday.
