Welcome inside

In the middle of beautiful Ærø – sur­ro­un­ded by open fields and the tranquil island at­mosp­he­re – you will find this well-main­tai­ned holiday home on two levels. Here the framework is set for a holiday with presence, peace and space to enjoy time together.

On the ground floor, you are greeted by a practical utility room and a beautiful bathroom with a washing machine. From here, you continue into the house's cozy living room. The well-equipped kitchen includes a dis­hwas­her and a good dining area, where the day's meals can be enjoyed at a leisurely pace.

The living room is bright and inviting with a com­fortab­le sofa bed and space to relax after a day filled with ex­pe­ri­en­ces on the island. On the ground floor you will also find a large bedroom with a double bed.

On the first floor is a cozy landing, which leads on to another bedroom – a quiet place to retreat when the day draws to a close.

Enjoy life outside

When the weather calls for outdoor life – and it often does on Ærø – you can step out onto the house's terrace. Here, garden furniture, barbecue and sun loungers are ready for long, relaxed days under the open sky.

The beautiful garden invites you to play, relax and quiet moments with a cup of coffee or a good glass of wine while enjoying the view of the open fields around the house.

There are good parking fa­ci­li­ties at the house with a large driveway and parking lot, so arrival and excur­sions are easy and con­ve­ni­ent.

Here is room to slow down and feel the special tranqui­li­ty that many guests fall in love with when they visit Ærø.

Get close to local ex­pe­ri­en­ces

From the house, it is not far to one of Ærø's most im­pres­si­ve nature ex­pe­ri­en­ces, Voderup Klint. Here, the 33-metre-high, step-shaped avalanche slopes rise dra­ma­ti­cal­ly above the sea, creating a landscape that both fa­sci­na­tes and fa­sci­na­tes.

The area is a true paradise for nature lovers, hikers and geology ent­hu­si­asts. Here you can go for long walks along the marked paths and ex­pe­ri­en­ce the unique flora and fauna of the protected landscape.

From the top of the ap­proxi­ma­te­ly two-kilometre-long cliff, a mag­ni­fi­cent panoramic view of the South Funen Ar­chipela­go opens up. Below you will find the coastal beach, where many people enjoy looking for fossils and the cha­ra­cte­ri­stic stones with holes – small works of art of nature shaped over thousands of years.

Pack a picnic basket and sit down for a picnic in the co­un­trysi­de, or bring your fishing rod – the area offers sublime fishing op­portu­ni­ties. And as the day draws to a close, you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce some of the island's most beautiful sunsets, where sky and sea merge in warm colors.
