Step inside a beautiful and very well-main­tai­ned holiday home on two floors, where the setting im­me­di­a­te­ly invites you to presence, peace and cozy holiday days on Ærø. The house is beau­ti­ful­ly furnished, appears bright and new and is an obvious choice for those who want a holiday home with charm, comfort and a warm at­mosp­he­re.

On the ground floor you will find the house's lovely living room, where the kitchen, dining area and living room merge into one inviting kitchen/family room.

Here, the holiday can be lived com­ple­te­ly naturally – with morning coffee at the dining table, joint cooking in the beautiful kitchen that contains eve­ryt­hing your heart desires, and relaxing moments in the super cozy living room. On the ground floor there is also a lovely large bathroom, which completes the practical and com­fortab­le setting.

On the first floor are the house's three bedrooms, where you can retreat after a day filled with island life, harbor air and local ex­pe­ri­en­ces.

Please note that the house generally has a low ceiling height of approx. 175 cm.

Enjoy life outside

Outside, a small, well-kept oasis awaits, where you can really enjoy the Danish summer. The house is located on a small plot with a terrace and lawn - perfect for quiet mornings with breakfast in the open air, a good book in the sun or cozy af­ter­noons where the children can romp freely on the lawn.

When evening falls, you can gather on the terrace around the barbecue and prepare delicious food under the open sky. Here there is room for the small holiday moments that often become the biggest memories: the smell of barbecue, bare feet in the grass and the family gathered in peaceful sur­ro­un­dings.

The garden is easy, ma­na­geab­le and safe – a small sanctuary where both children and adults can relax and just be present during the holiday.

The holiday home is located in Store Rise, almost halfway between Ærøskøbing and Marstal. Here you live pea­ce­ful­ly and sce­ni­cal­ly, sur­ro­un­ded by eve­ryt­hing that Ærø is known and loved for: open landsca­pes, a present island at­mosp­he­re and short distances to both city life, harbor en­viron­ments and local ex­pe­ri­en­ces.

Ærøskøbing, popularly known as "The Fairytale City", is one of Denmark's most beautiful and at­mosp­he­ric market towns. Here you can explore colourful, well-main­tai­ned houses, cobbled streets, cosy cafés, re­stau­rants and exciting shops. The city exudes life, history and romance – and it is not unusual to meet brides and grooms in their finest attire in the charming streets. From Ærøskøbing, the twin ferries MF Marstal and MF Ærøskøbing sail almost hourly to Svendborg.

Marstal is Ærø's largest town and has a proud maritime history that is still felt eve­rywhe­re. On a walk through the town or along the harbour, you im­me­di­a­te­ly sense the im­portan­ce of shipping – from the old skipper's houses to the vibrant harbour en­viron­ment. Visit the Marstal Maritime Museum, explore Kirkestræde and Kon­gens­ga­de with shops, cafés and re­stau­rants, or ex­pe­ri­en­ce the city's local events that create life all year round.

Ærø is in many ways a very small micro-universe. Here you will find eve­ryt­hing from cozy harbor grills to gourmet re­stau­rants, from specialty shops to beautiful nature, from local tra­di­tions to vibrant cultural life.
