In the sought-after Borgnæs area on Ærø is this beautiful and charming holiday home – just in the second row to the water. Here you live close to the sea, with a view of the ar­chipela­go and the special tranqui­li­ty that only the coast can provide.

The house is new and modern and decorated bright and inviting. Large windows let in plenty of daylight and bring nature very close, so you always feel the proximity to the sea and the landscape around you.

The focal point of the house is the large living room with com­fortab­le sofas and a cozy wood-burning stove that creates warmth and at­mosp­he­re on chilly evenings. Here you can relax with a good book, watch a movie or simply enjoy the mag­ni­fi­cent view.

In con­nection with the living room is the modern kitchen-dining room, where you can prepare meals with good local in­gre­di­ents. The large dining area invites you to long dinners, good con­ver­sa­tions and holiday moments, where time is allowed to pass a little slower.

The cottage has two bedrooms – one with a double bed and one with two single beds – as well as an extra sleeping place on the landing. There is plenty of storage space and a quiet setting, so you can fall asleep to the fresh sea air and wake up for another day of holiday on Ærø.

The bathroom is bright and delicious and completes the com­fortab­le setting of the house.

Enjoy life outside

One of the very special qualities of the house is the large balcony/roof terrace. From here, the view opens up over the sea and the beautiful ar­chipela­go, and you can sit in the sun and listen to the waves crashing against the shore.

Start the day with morning coffee in the fresh sea air, enjoy a quiet afternoon over­look­ing the water, or end the day with a glass of wine as the sun sets over the horizon.

Here it is easy to find peace and just be present in the moment – exactly how a holiday on Ærø should feel.

Get close to local ex­pe­ri­en­ces

From the house, it is only a short trip to the ad­ven­tu­rous market town of Ærøskøbing, which many call one of Denmark's most beautiful small towns. Here you are greeted by cobbled streets, colorful houses and an at­mosp­he­re that feels almost like stepping into another time.

Take a trip down to the harbor, where life quietly goes on between boats, small shops and cozy cafes. Here you can enjoy an ice cream in the sun, eat at one of the good re­stau­rants or just sit and look out over the water while ferries and sailors glide by.

The area around Borgnæs also invites you to lovely walks and bike rides along the coast, where you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce the open landscape, the fresh sea air and the many beautiful views of the South Funen Ar­chipela­go.
