Get up close and personal with nature, listen to the buzzing of insects and explore the beautiful flora. Near Bratten, you will find the port town of Strandby where you can see the charming harbour en­viron­ment unfold right in front of you. And with Fre­de­riks­havn just 10 km away, you also have great shopping op­portu­ni­ties, in­te­r­e­sting cultural at­tra­ctions and cosy eateries right at your fin­ger­tips.

Havnsø

Havnsø is a seaport on Northwest Zealand. Here you can enjoy life on the beach, which, with its low water, is perfect for water play for people of all ages. Just under 5 km from Havnsø you will find the protected natural area of Eskebjerg Ve­ster­lyng. Known as Zealand’s largest heath, the natural area offers rolling landsca­pes with beaches, dunes and shrubs – and, with any luck, you might also see free-range cattle and horses. From Havnsø you can also enjoy the view of Nekselø Bay, and if you look carefully, you can see Nekselø and Sejerø in the distance. Both islands can be reached by ferry from Havnsø.

Røsnæs

Røsnæs is a 5 km long peninsula located on the west coast of Zealand. It is sur­ro­un­ded by fa­sci­nat­ing landsca­pes of open coasts, rolling hilltops and dense forests. You can hike the coastal paths, enjoy the sea views and explore nearby forest areas. Don’t forget to visit Røsnæs Ligh­t­hou­se for panoramic views of land and water. You can also learn more about the history of the area on this small peninsula. Stop by the old, well-preserved mill, Ulstrup Mill, or discover Røsnæs Church, which is located on a hilltop over­look­ing Ka­lund­borg Fjord.

Bukkemose

In Bukkemose, you can look forward to a range of unique nature and outdoor ex­pe­ri­en­ces. Bukkemose Strand is known for its low tides and fa­sci­nat­ing seabed making the beach an at­tra­ction for sea ent­hu­si­asts looking to go un­derwa­ter hunting. And if birds singing above are more your thing, you will find several bird towers in the area for you to explore Danish birdlife. If holidang in a summer cottage in Bukkemose, you cannot miss the popular golf course on Southern Langeland. You will find it right here. Play a round or two while sur­ro­un­ded by the beautiful Langeland nature.
