Ærøs­kø­bing is known as the pearl of Ærø and it is one of the best preserved market towns in Denmark. In Grærup, you will find yourself in the middle of nature, just a stone’s throw from the roaring tur­bu­len­ce of the North Sea. You can wander along pristine sandy beaches, climb deep dune plan­ta­tions and ex­pe­ri­en­ce the abundant local wildlife. Grærup Langsø is a paradise for anyone who loves hiking or enjoys birdwat­ching. The hiking trails wind through the diverse landscape and take you through forests and into open expanses. There are many beautiful views and plenty to explore. You will also find great cycling routes throug­hout the landscape, enticing you to an active holiday. For water lovers, there is also ample op­portu­ni­ty to try out different types of water sports.
