Just 15 km from Grenaa is the holiday area, Gjerrild Nord­s­trand. The beach has been awarded Blue Flag-cer­ti­fi­ca­tion, and for good reason. Here you can enjoy the clear waters, fine sand and calm sur­ro­un­dings. Perfect for splashing, relaxing and playing. The area is close to the town of Gjerrild and the natural pheno­menon of Gjerrild Klint, which is a 35 metre high lime cliff. From here you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce the im­pres­si­ve views and, if you are into angling, you can try your luck with a fishing rod. In this area you will find several paths and trails that connect Gjerrild and Bønnerup. Put on your hiking shoes and explore nature.

Rudkøbing, the largest town on Langeland, is a charming market town with beautiful old houses, cobbled streets and a wa­ter­front con­stant­ly bustling with life. When strolling through the streets and alleys of the town, you get the ex­pe­ri­en­ce of going back in time. But please do not get fooled. Behind the many well-preserved town houses, you will find local shops, re­stau­rants and cafés. When venturing outside the town centre, you will discover that Rudkøbing also has a beautiful nature on offer. Explore the area via one of the many different cycling and hiking routes and ex­pe­ri­en­ce the nature of Langeland up close.

Odermosen in idyllic Møn is a true paradise for nature and beach lovers. A peaceful gem that offers a lovely beach and scenic sur­ro­un­dings. The area is perfect for outdoor ad­ven­tu­res, such as hiking and biking, water sports and walks on the long, winding coastline. The wildlife is rich and diverse, and many species of migratory birds make a stop here. In the area you will find historic buildings, churches and idyllic farms, and there are several quaint harbour towns close by. Don’t miss out on a trip to Møns Klint, which offers an in­cre­dib­le nature ex­pe­ri­en­ce and views you will never forget.

Horne Som­mer­land is a popular summer land area on Southern Funen. The region is sur­ro­un­ded by beautiful green nature with open co­un­trysi­de and idyllic coast­li­nes. Around these parts, you will have a range of outdoor acti­vi­ties right at your fin­ger­tips. Among other things, coastal hiking trails, bicycle tracks for you to explore the local wildlife and flora that are par­ti­cu­lar­ly cha­ra­cte­ri­stic of the sur­ro­un­ding on Southern Funen. The region is also at­tra­cting anglers as both sailing and angling are extremely popular acti­vi­ties around these parts. Near the summer land area, you will also find the port town of Bøjden and from here, you can reach Als directly by ferry.
