For these reasons, the beach has been awarded Blue Flag-cer­ti­fi­ca­tion, which proudly sways in the wind. Close to the area is Norsminde Havn, an extremely charming marina where you can stroll along the pier, enjoy the sight of small fishing boats and visit one of the many cosy eateries. You can get from Ajstrup Strand to Odder in under 20 minutes by car.

The charming port town of Hou is the perfect holiday desti­na­tion for those looking for local ex­pe­ri­en­ces and sur­ro­un­dings full of nature. Among other things, you can visit the marina where pleasure boats and fishing boats help creating life and at­mosp­he­re. It is also from here that you can go on organised sails along the coast or grab the paddle yourself by hiring a kayak. If you want to take in the sur­ro­un­dings full of nature on land, you have various beautiful routes and trails at your disposal in the area to explore.
