Bjerge Beach is a holiday home area on the west coast of Zealand with views of the Great Belt. The area is known for its two beaches, which are extremely popular and a gathering point for locals and ho­li­day­ma­kers. Col­loqui­al­ly, the beaches are known as the South and North Beaches and both offer plenty of water play, sun­bat­hing and water sports. The area around Bjerge Beach is also rich in nature ex­pe­ri­en­ces. For example, just 10 km away you will find Denmark’s fourth largest lake, Tissø. Sur­ro­un­ded by protected nature, the lake draws several different species of birds. Visit the ob­ser­va­tion tower near the lake and ex­pe­ri­en­ce birdlife up close.

Spend your holiday at beautiful Faxe Ladeplads, which offers lovely beaches, a cosy harbour, beautiful natural areas and plenty of cultural ex­pe­ri­en­ces. The area houses several castles, manors, estates and old half-timbered houses, which create an idyllic backdrop and the perfect setting for a holiday home. The port, with its yachts and fishing boats, is an evocative gathering point brimming with life. Wander down to the pier to the sound of the bells atop the boat masts bells and enjoy the pi­c­tu­resque scenery. And don’t miss out on a trip to specta­cu­lar Faxe Kalkbrud, which is located just a few ki­lo­metres away.

On the northern coast of the Kattegat is Hald Beach. Here you can easily spend hours swimming, playing games on the beach, reading a good book, enjoying the perfect view, and so on. The area is also ideal for exploring on foot or by bike, and you will find many lovely trails and routes around the terrain. The towering coastline gives the landscape a par­ti­cu­lar­ly dramatic feel and offers one bre­ath­taking view after another. Close to Hald Beach are several cosy harbour towns with plenty of at­mosp­he­re, shops and urban life. The area also offers art, culture, local spe­ci­a­li­ties and so much more.

In Sjællands Odde you will find unique nature and an authentic harbour en­viron­ment. Take a trip to Odden Harbour, where the air is full of the smell of freshly smoked fish from the iconic smo­ke­hou­se designed by Arne Jacobsen, while enjoying the sight of fishing boats and fresh fish. Organic farm shops offer local de­li­ca­cies, while Ørnberg Vin creates award-winning white wines. Enjoy a stroll on the pier to feel refreshed by the sea spray and see yachts, or take a bike ride out to Gniben to ex­pe­ri­en­ce pristine nature and military history. Also remember to visit Brøns Odde, a shipwreck from 1948, which is about 80 metres from the coast.
