The old market town of Aakirkeby is located in the southern part of Bornholm, an ideal location for the island’s beaches. Here, you will find stunning Dueodde with its white, sandy beaches winding as far as the eye can see, but Balka Beach and Boderne also rank among Bornholm’s best beaches. Aakirkeby offers hi­sto­ri­cal buildings, museums, and cultural at­tra­ctions. If you move towards the middle of the island, you will get to Al­min­din­gen, Denmark’s fifth-largest forest. Spend several hours exploring the terrain and the hi­sto­ri­cal and cultural sights here, such as Ryt­ter­k­næg­ten and Ekkodalen.

Beautiful Østmøn invites you on a holiday home break in the middle of some of Denmark’s most specta­cu­lar nature. There are plenty of excur­sions, for example, to charming Klintholm Harbour, and lovely beaches, such as Ulvshale and Råbylille – and don’t miss out on fantastic Møns Klint, which is close by. Visit the cosy little island of Nyord, which awaits with an idyllic island vibe. Østmøn also offers re­stau­rants, local spe­ci­al­ties and cosy harbour eateries, where you can settle down and enjoy the at­mosp­he­re. At Mols, you are sur­ro­un­ded by mag­ni­fi­cent nature as far as the eye can see. Don’t miss out on hiking around Mols Bjerge National Park, which takes you through a landscape of heath, lush forests, marshes and a stretch of hills that reaches up to 137 metres above sea level. Mols’ coastline is equally im­pres­si­ve with beautiful beaches that are perfect for re­laxa­tion and various water sports on the clear waters. It is also on Mols’ coastline that you will find excellent op­portu­ni­ties for fishing. So bring your fishing rod and hope for the best.

On the east coast of Bornholm, you will find beautiful Vang. Admire stunning sunsets in calm, idyllic sur­ro­un­dings. The north coast of the island is cha­ra­cte­ri­sed by dramatic, rocky landsca­pes and beautiful views—Vang is no exception. There is a clear maritime at­mosp­he­re in the cosy, old fishing village. Built from local granite and large boulders, the pier is part of the pi­c­tu­resque setting and invites a stroll between the boat masts. Close to Vang are several historic landmarks, such as Ham­mers­hus and Jons Kapel, and you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce some of the island’s most fa­sci­nat­ing rock for­ma­tions.
