We have collected the answers to the most common questions for you on this page. You are always welcome to contact us if you have any questions about your holiday home holiday in Vedersø Klit.
The accommodation is at your disposal from 3 pm on the day of arrival. Please note that it is not possible to get the key earlier. The departure time is also stated in the rental agreement. Between each rental, the holiday home will be inspected, and if necessary, small repairs must be made so that you take over the house in a satisfactory condition.

Question 2

Waste

Accepted Answer

At the holiday home there are from 1 to several waste containers, depending on the area you live in.
The emptying interval may vary from area to area. Therefore, you cannot expect an empty container upon arrival. It is recommended that you sort empty bottles, cans, cardboard and paper, and hand this in at a waste station in the area in question. On www.nomi4s.dk/min-side
you can for the areas Vester Husby, Nørhede Vest and – Øst, Nr. Fjand, Sdr. Fjand, Bjerghuse and Thorsminde. See when the waste container(s) are emptied via the address.

Question 3

Distances

All distances are measured on the internet via Google Earth and are given as the crow flies. The distances have been prepared to the best of our ability.

Question 4

Allergy

Accepted Answer

Only in houses with the reference "hypoallergenic" can you be 100% sure that there have never been pets in the house. Even though the house description says that pets are not allowed, a homeowner or their guests may have brought pets into the house. Feriepartner employees take no responsibility for allergic reactions in connection with house dust. Please note that people who have a dust allergy should choose houses with wooden or tile floors.

Question 5

Bathing advice

Accepted Answer

In some areas along the Danish coasts, it can be dangerous to swim. Therefore, follow these bathing tips:
1. Learn to swim
2. Never bathe alone
3. Bathing only were allowed
4. Only go out to the navel
5. Swim along the coast
6. Never bathe with alcohol and euphoriant substances in the blood
7. Get up when you start to freeze
Further bathing information can be obtained from your local Feriepartner agency.

Question 6

Highchair, cot, trolley and linen.

Can be rented through Feriepartner. The ordered items are in the house upon arrival. On departure, please place them at the entrance door. NOTE! Used linen must be packed in the reusable fabric bags in which they are received. A few houses offer highchairs and cots in facilities, so please check before you order.

Question 7

Payment

Accepted Answer

The 1st installment is a prepayment of 25% of the total rental price. The remaining amount, deposit and additional purchases must be paid no later than 70 days before the start of the rental period. If you book less than 70 days before the start of the rental period, the full amount must be paid immediately.

Question 8

Burn

Accepted Answer

Firewood is not included in the rental price, but you can buy firewood in supermarkets, for example. If there is firewood at the holiday home, it is the owner's private property and may only be used/purchased if permission has been given for this. It is not allowed to collect firewood in the forest or on the beach, as it may contain salt, which can destroy the wood-burning stove. In case of strong winds or storms, it can happen that the wood-burning stove/stove cannot be used, as the wind pushes the smoke back into the chimney.

Question 9

Construction alarm

During your holiday, construction noise may occur in the immediate surroundings. Feriepartner is not able to know where and when construction or renovation will take place and therefore cannot be held responsible for this.

Question 10

Bikes

Accepted Answer

At some holiday homes there are bicycles that the renter can use freely. However, Feriepartner assumes no responsibility for quality and standard and any defects.

Bike rental

Accepted Answer

Bicycles can be rented in the immediate area, and Feriepartner is happy to provide you with further information.

Question 12

Deposit / consumption

Accepted Answer

Deposit is required with every rental agreement and is paid in the 2nd installment. After departure, the holiday home will be checked. The consumption costs will be deducted from the deposit, and the remaining amount will be refunded within 14 days of departure, to the account you have provided.

Electricity

220 Volts in all holiday homes.

Question 15

Fishing license

Accepted Answer

Fishing license for coastal fishing valid for 1 day, 1 week or 1 year must be purchased at www.fisketegn.dk

Question 16

Consumption costs

Accepted Answer

Which consumption meters must be read is stated under "check in"
In some holiday homes, a fixed fee is charged for water consumption, while in other holiday homes it is included in the rental price. This is stated in your consumption record. Should the counter stands not be listed, Feriepartner estimates the consumption. Feriepartner reserves the right to price changes that arise from changes in consumer prices.

Question 17

Forgotten items

Accepted Answer

Feriepartner stores forgotten items for up to three months after the end of a stay. The items are sent at the tenant's own expense.

Question 18

Grill

Accepted Answer

At most holiday homes, a barbecue is part of the house's inventory. Feriepartner assumes no responsibility for the quality or condition of this grill. Barbecue charcoal is at the tenant's expense. Gas for the gas grill is free.

Question 19

Reason

Accepted Answer

In Feriepartner's descriptions, you will often find the word "natural plot". This means heather areas, tall grass, uneven ground, wild heath or the like. This "natural plot" is left to nature, and you can therefore not count on the entire area being usable. Nor can you demand that the grass be mowed so that, for example, the children can play ball. It is not allowed to set up tents, caravans or motorhomes on the property of the holiday home.

Customers who

We would like to point out that there must never be more people in the holiday home than stated in the house description. It is also not allowed to set up tents, caravans or motorhomes on the holiday home grounds.  If the house offers 2 people in the booked period, only 2 people can be in the house.

Question 21

Garden

Accepted Answer

In all holiday homes, garden furniture is available, i.e. table and chairs. Parasols, sun loungers and cushions do not fall into this category and can therefore not be expected to be available in the house. If the house is equipped with a parasol, the parasol must be tied together and placed inside after use. The renter is responsible for damage to the parasol caused by wind or incorrect operation.

Question 22

Domestic animal

In several of Feriepartner's holiday homes, pets are welcome but read the house description carefully before booking a holiday home. The pet does not need to be on a leash on the holiday home grounds. In all other places, including on public roads, the pet must be on a leash unless otherwise stipulated in official regulations.
If pets are brought, it is not allowed under any circumstances to leave the pet alone in the holiday home, just as pets are never allowed to stay in the house's furniture, beds, etc. In addition, we ask you Make sure to tidy up and clean after the pet in and around the house, including removing pet hair inside and 'leftovers' on the outside, so there are no unpleasant surprises for the next guests who are going to spend their holiday in the house.
If it can be established that more than the permitted number of pets have been brought or they have stayed in furniture, pool rooms, etc., the tenant is obliged to pay DKK 5,000 to Feriepartner for non-compliance with the house description, as well as the general rental conditions.

Question 23

Furnishings/equipment

Accepted Answer

All holiday homes are privately owned and are furnished according to the owner's taste and needs. Feriepartner can therefore not take responsibility for the tenant's individual expectations. Unless otherwise stated, all holiday homes are equipped with toilet, cold and hot water, hand shower/shower cubicle, stove, coffee maker, vacuum cleaner and radiators. The beds have duvets (in some cases feather duvets), pillows and possibly a top mattress. There is cutlery and cookware for the number of people allowed in the house. Call if you have questions about e.g. the décor.
For your holiday, you must bring the following yourself: bed linen, towels, tea towel, cloths, tablecloth and toiletries.
Cleaning products are not always available in the house. The tenant is therefore asked to bring their own cleaning products.

Question 25

Military exercises

Accepted Answer

In some areas of Denmark, military exercises are occasionally held. These activities take place as far as possible outside holiday periods. Further information can be obtained from Feriepartner. Sometimes the exercises are planned for a short period of time, and it is therefore not possible to give precise information.

Question 26

Electric car charging

Accepted Answer

In the house description on the website under Facilities, it is stated whether charging of electric cars (also applies to hybrids) at the rented house is allowed or not and what type of charging is available.
If the tenant acts contrary to the house description by charging their electric car where it is not allowed, the tenant is directly liable to Feriepartner and the owner of the holiday home for the damage and loss that the improper charging may cause.

Question 27

Complaint

Accepted Answer

Damage and complaints must be reported to Feriepartner immediately at the start of the rental. Should this not be possible upon arrival, the notification must be made no later than 48 hours after this (please take photos). Damages/defects/complaints do not necessarily lead to a discount or compensation (s. §6 General Terms and Conditions).

Question 28

Smoking

If it is found that there has been smoke inside a non-smoking house, the tenant is obliged to pay DKK 5,000 to Feriepartner for non-compliance with the house description.  Whether smoking is allowed in the holiday home is stated in the house description for the individual holiday home.

Question 29

Beds/sleeping places/closet space

Accepted Answer

Bed sizes vary greatly. The width of a double bed varies from approx. 120-180 cm. The width of single beds varies from 60-90 cm. and the length from 175-200 cm. The double beds often consist of a large mattress, sometimes of two single mattresses. Often there is a gentle mattress on top for hygiene reasons. Please put your own sheet over the mattress.
There is usually quite limited closet space in the holiday homes. Therefore, you cannot count on all your clothes being able to be put / hung in cupboards.

Question 30

Final cleaning

Cleaning including or ordered cleaning
If the final cleaning is included, it means that you do not have to spend the last hours of the holiday cleaning, but the holiday home must be tidy on departure and these things still need to be done:
- Clean outdoor grills.
- Wash dishes and empty the dishwasher.
- Clean up the house and on the terraces and put furniture and other things back in the places they were when they arrived.
- The stove is emptied of ash and the glass is cleaned.
- Remove waste in the kitchen and bathroom as well as extra waste, bottles, cardboard and boxes. (See section on waste management).
- Any rented linen must be removed from the beds and packed into the reusable fabric bags in which they are received collected on the floor by the front door.
- Also remember to remove any pet hair from furniture and carpets as well as animal droppings on the property.
- All doors and windows must be closed and locked when leaving the house.

Question 31

Final cleaning by the tenant

Accepted Answer

The holiday home must be clean and tidy before departure and the following things must be done:
- The points of ordered cleaning.
- Exterior and interior cleaning of windows.
- Wiping all horizontal surfaces.
- All floors must be vacuumed and washed, including under beds, sofas, sofa cushions and loose carpets.
- Wiping down cabinets and drawers (Remember fronts), mirrors and lamps.
- Clean the toilet and shower.
- Filter is emptied on the dryer and the washing machine's washing drawer is cleaned.
- Clean the microwave, dishwasher (remember filter), stove and oven plates.
- Clean the fridge and freezer. Please turn off and leave the doors open.
Often – with good intentions – flour, grains, sugar, spices, etc. are left in the cupboards for the next tenants. However, experience shows that most tenants do not use it, as they have brought it with them from home. We therefore ask you to take these things home with you so that the kitchen cabinets are left in neat and tidy condition.

Question 32

Indoor hot tub

Accepted Answer

Hygiene in a hot tub is very important. Feriepartner therefore makes sure that the hot tub is cleaned thoroughly at each change of tenant to fight bacteria.
Instructions for using the spa can be found in the user manuals in the house folder.
On departure: leave the hot tub filled with cold water, as saving cleaning must be carried out after each change of bearings. The water in the whirlpool may be used so that you do not have to fill up with new water on departure.

Question 33

Swimming pool

Accepted Answer

The pool has a temperature of between 24 and 28 °C and is checked once a week – either on Thursday or Friday. You do not need to stay in the house, as our pool inspector will bring the key himself. Remember never leave pets alone at home in the holiday home. If our pool technician cannot access the holiday home and carry out the task, a fee of DKK 500 will be charged.

Health insurance

It is recommended that you bring your health insurance card with you when you go on holiday.

Question 35

TV, Satellit-TV

Accepted Answer

Read in the house description what your holiday home offers. Not all of them offer many channels. There may be a poor signal or a complete outage in reception (weather conditions). Should problems arise with the TV/satellite reception or similar, it cannot be guaranteed that this can be repaired at weekends or in the evenings. In the event of incorrect operation or changes in the settings on the part of the renter, Feriepartner reserves the right to charge the renter the repair/new setting. Please always read the instructions for use or call Feriepartner if you are in doubt about the operation.

Question 36

Young people from 3 people

Accepted Answer

Feriepartner does not allow groups of young people under the age of 25.
Inspection visits may occur!

Question 37

Vermin/insects

Accepted Answer

Feriepartner draws special attention to the fact that the Danish holiday homes are located in natural areas. Naturally, ants, flies, spiders and mice can occur in these natural areas. Should it happen that there are more people in the holiday home than feels comfortable, please contact Feriepartner. We will do our best to help you.

Question 38

Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher

Accepted Answer

In many holiday homes there is a washing machine, dryer and/or dishwasher. Should operational disruptions occur, it cannot be guaranteed that the repair can be carried out at weekends or in the evening. In connection with incorrect operation on the part of the renter, Feriepartner reserves the right to charge the renter for any repairs. Please always read the instructions for use or call Feriepartner if you are in doubt about the operation.

Question 39

Weather conditions

Accepted Answer

Feriepartner cannot be held responsible if your arrival at or departure from the holiday home/key collection point is impossible due to snowfall, ice or other weather conditions. This also applies to damages, including personal injuries, that may arise from this.

Question 40

Renting a holiday home in the winter months

Accepted Answer

In the period from 1 October to 31 March, the holiday home is preheated so that on arrival it is approx. 15 °C warm.
