Helnæs is a genuine little gem in the South Funen Archipelago. The peninsula is connected to the mainland via a natural dam and it is close to both the port town of Assens and the market town of Faaborg.
When driving across the dam to the small peninsula, you will feel embraced by the outstanding nature. This is where you will find Brobakkerne, a large embankment formed back in the Ice Age and in summer, it is covered with the finest summer flowers.
You can also experience the spectacular nature from the water. Jump in a kayak and explore the Little Belt.
