The perfect setting for long hikes and bicycle rides. Ju­els­min­de is a cosy seaport with an in­cre­di­bly long coastline. In fact, Ju­els­min­de has five ki­lo­metres of sandy beach. Here you can bask in the sun or leap into the blue waves. North of Ju­els­min­de you will find the old station town of Odder. In and around the station town you will find child-friendly beaches and an active city life, and it is only a short distance to Denmark’s second largest city, Aarhus.

Ju­els­min­de

Ju­els­min­de is a charming seaport on the east coast of Jutland. Here you can stroll along the beach to the sound of lapping waves or enjoy the sunset from the harbour. The very centre of Ju­els­min­de offers various shops, cosy eateries and a small gallery where you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce local han­di­crafts of all kinds. Ju­els­min­de is also sur­ro­un­ded by fa­sci­nat­ing natural areas. Here you will find, among other things, Bjørnsknu­de, a long and pointed peninsula that stretches ki­lo­metres into the sea, where Vejle Fjord and Horsens Fjord meet. And right here, you might get lucky and catch both sea trout and hornfish.
