In Brunshuse close to Helnæs, lies this unusually beautiful holiday home. The house, which was originally built in 1942, had a total renovation in 2020, so it appears bright, friendly and with a modern choice of materials.
The house, which is very suitable for a family of 4-5 people, is located on a small cozy plot, very close to Helnæsbugten. You can see the water from both the house and the terrace. And just two hundred meters from the house there is a shared jetty. On the terrace, both the morning and evening sun can be enjoyed overlooking the water. The house itself, which has underfloor heating throughout, is furnished with two good bedrooms, one of which in addition to a double bed, also has a bunk bed for the children. The lovely kitchen / family room goes hand in hand with the living room, so you are always close to each other - A real family room. In addition, there is a very nice bathroom with a large shower.
If you want a nice holiday in quiet surroundings, then this house is definitely worth a visit.

The area
Brunshuse is an idyllic fishing village with good swimming and fishing opportunities and exciting nature. Via a dam you can get to the peninsula Helnæs, which is one of Southwest Funen's most beautiful areas. At Brunsnæs is also the large lovely and peaceful bathing beach "Feddet" where in addition to being able to swim in the Little Belt, you can also go for some lovely walks along the water. If you want nature, then this is definitely the place. Here an excursion to Bobakkerne is worth a visit. And if you want to have a good dinner in fantastic surroundings, then the area offers no less than two wonderful restaurants - Namely: Gl. Brydegaard and Gl. Agernæs. The nearest town is the cozy old market town of Assens with cobbled streets and idyllic half-timbered houses in the well-preserved town center. The city also offers many exciting shops, restaurants and a cozy harbor. From Assens, a small ferry sails daily to the scenic island of Bågø just off Assens. Within a short distance, you can also visit Denmark's third largest city and H.C. Andersen's birthplace - Odense. In Funen's largest city, you can follow in the poets' footsteps and visit the Adventure Park, the poet's birthplace or one of the many other places that are named or connected to the poet. You can also make a stop at Odense Zoo, which has been voted Europe's best zoo, stroll around the cozy streets and visit the city's museums such as the Funen Village and Odense Cathedral. Bridgewalking in Middelfart - In Middelfart you can challenge the heights and climb the old Little Belt Bridge. From the top you have a nice view over the area. Castles and manor houses - Funen has more than 123 castles and manor houses. The most famous are Valdemar Castle at Tåsinge and Egeskov Castle, but you will also find Broholm Castle, which is beautifully located between Nyborg and Svendborg. You can inspect the beautiful gardens and several also offer tasty restaurants.
