Beautiful and well-designed wooden holiday home
House-ID: LF16183The beautiful natural plot, the bathroom’s sauna, and the short distance to Trend’s child-friendly beach: These are three very different – yet equally excellent – reasons why spending your holiday here at Monasvej 1 is such a pleasure. It also helps that the holiday home is bright and welcoming with a cosy interior, and thanks to the two lofts and a large annex, there’s plenty of room to invite family and friends along.
Welcome inside
With high ceilings, light wooden panels, and a wood-burning stove, the living area is one of those spaces where you immediately feel at home. There’s a comfortable sofa and armchairs, perfect for relaxing with a book or a good movie on the flatscreen TV. At the dining table near the open kitchen, you can gather your loved ones for delicious meals, board games, and lots of laughter. The sauna, located next to the bathroom, is ideal for unwinding and letting the holiday mood settle in. When it’s time for bed, there are two bedrooms available. In addition, the two lofts and the annex provide further sleeping arrangements, accommodating up to 10 overnight guests. Please note that the loft beds are best suited for children and young people.
Enjoy life outside
There are two covered terrace areas connected to the house, but if you prefer to sit entirely under the open sky, there’s plenty of space for sunbathing, barbecuing, and laid-back lounging on the tiled terrace. A lovely lawn stretches out, sheltered by the surrounding greenery, offering ample room to play and enjoy ball games with the family. Children can have fun in the sandbox and on the swings, making this green and private oasis a hit with the youngest holidaymakers too.
Get up close to the local attractions
From Monasvej, it's easy to get around via Trend’s small roads and paths. There’s a football and pétanque court nearby, and it’s just one kilometre to the local inn and campsite – but the best part is the beach, only 500 metres away. The beach is child-friendly with its shallow water and peaceful atmosphere, and you’ll also find great opportunities for surfing and fishing if you're up for more active pursuits. For day trips, you might visit the Stone Age Centre in Ertebølle or the water park in Rønbjerg. A highly recommended outing is the ferry trip to Livø, a car-free and scenic island in the Limfjord.
