Beautifully renovated holiday home in scenic Ertebølle

House-ID: LF16121
Bjarkesvej 11, Ertebølle
5 guests
2 bedrooms
1 bathrooms

This neat and brightly decorated holiday home is the perfect place to relax and recharge. Inside, you can enjoy the cosy living room with a crackling fire in the wood-burning stove and the smell of freshly prepared meals from the open kitchen, and outside, you can soak up the sun on the terrace – when you're not out exploring Ertebølle and the surrounding area.

Welcome inside
The holiday home originally dates back to 1974, but after a thorough modernisation in 2023, the rooms now appear bright and inviting – including the shower bathroom and the two bedrooms, which can accommodate up to four adults and one child. The open kitchen provides plenty of elbow room and workspace for cooking with seasonal ingredients, and meal preparation might even become a shared holiday activity – unless you're spending quality time together in the sofa area with board games, hot tea and a fire in the stove. If you'd rather watch a movie or catch the news, there's a flat-screen TV with Chromecast in the living room.

Enjoy life outside
From the living room, you have direct access to not just one, but two lovely wooden terraces, so you can check the sun and wind before choosing your spot. The southwest-facing terrace is partially covered, so even a quick summer shower won’t stop you from enjoying outdoor relaxation. In almost any weather, children are sure to love playing on the lawn or swinging, jumping on the trampoline and building sandcastles. And as twilight falls, the whole family can gather around the firepit for s’mores and tall tales.

Get up close to the local attractions
Located on peaceful Bjarkesvej, you’ll be staying in a central part of the small village of Ertebølle – just 600 metres from the coast and the blue waves of the Limfjord. If you and your family are interested in history, a visit to the Ertebølle Stone Age Centre is a must, where you can learn about life along the Limfjord 7,000 years ago. You can also go fossil hunting at Ertebølle Klint, unless a swim in the fjord or a game of mini golf at the local campsite tempts you more. The natural surroundings are beautiful and perfect for exploring on foot or by bike, and if you're into fishing, surfing or heading out on a SUP board, this area is ideal.
