The nearest shopping fa­ci­li­ties are 4 km away at Stillinge Strand, where you will also find a wonderful child-friendly sandy beach, several re­stau­rants, and an ice cream shop. Just 15 km from Drøsselbjerg lies Slagelse, the largest shopping town in West Zealand, offering a wide selection of shops, re­stau­rants, and cafés. Slagelse is also home to one of Denmark’s largest military barracks, and every Wednesday you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce the mounted hussars riding through the town. The sur­ro­un­ding area offers many excursion op­portu­ni­ties, including the Viking fortress Trel­le­borg or Kragerup Manor, both of which provide a wide range of acti­vi­ties.
