Fantastic pool house with generous space, a beautiful location and stunning sea views
House-ID: K19016Spend your next holiday in this modern, architect-designed pool house offering a total of 565 m² and no fewer than 10 comfortable bedrooms. The property was originally built as the executive residence for Carmen Curlers and has over the years provided a setting for both private living and representative purposes.
The house is beautifully located on the south side of the Røsnæs peninsula, boasting exceptional panoramic views over Kalundborg Fjord towards Asnæs, across the Great Belt to Funen, and west towards Samsø – a rare combination of comfort, history and outstanding natural surroundings.
Welcome inside: The house features a large and inviting living room of approximately 100 m² with stunning sea views, a fireplace and several cosy seating areas, offering plenty of space for gathering together. Adjacent to the living room is the dining room with seating for up to 20 people and easy access to a guest toilet.
In addition, there is a cosy fireplace lounge with seating for 20–25 people, a large panoramic window and an impressive ceiling height of approximately 7 metres, providing abundant natural light and a remarkable sense of space.
The kitchen on the first floor is connected to the dining room and is fully equipped with high-quality tableware and kitchen utensils, making it easy to prepare meals for the entire holiday group. The kitchen also includes a dining area with direct access to a terrace where the morning sun can be enjoyed. A practical kitchenette is also located in the bedroom corridor.
Televisions are available in the living room, the kitchen and the master bedroom, and the garage offers additional fridge and freezer space – ideal for longer stays and large holiday meals.

Get up close to the local attractions: The Røsnæs peninsula is known for its fascinating natural scenery, featuring cliffs, rolling hills, clear light, many hours of sunshine and very little rainfall. The abundant sunshine creates ideal conditions for wine production, and just a few kilometres from the house you can visit Dyrehøj Vineyard, the largest vineyard in the Nordic region, whose shop is open year-round (group visits can be arranged).
At the tip of the peninsula lies Røsnæs Lighthouse, which houses a museum and offers breathtaking views. Røsnæs also provides excellent fishing opportunities, challenging anglers with one great fishing spot after another. At the harbour, you may still be lucky enough to meet fishermen returning with freshly caught fish for dinner.
The area offers exceptional nature experiences, with marked hiking trails and various landmarks along the way.
In the nearby town of Kalundborg, you can visit a distinctive five-towered church set in a well-preserved medieval district. Directly opposite is the Kalundborg Museum, as well as the restaurant and gallery “Bispegården”. Kalundborg also offers good shopping facilities along with numerous cafés and restaurants.
