This bright and inviting holiday home is located just 150 metres from the North Sea, and from the living room you can enjoy views of the dunes through the large windows, which bring nature right up close.

The holiday home has a bright and cosy interior, making it easy to settle in from the very first moment. In the living room, the large floor-to-ceiling windows provide wonderful natural light, while also allowing you to look out towards the dunes, reminding you just how close you are to the North Sea. The skylights further enhance the light and airy at­mosp­he­re, while the wood-burning stove creates warmth and holiday cosiness when the wind is blowing outside, or when the evening calls for relaxing on the sofa with games, good con­ver­sa­tions and a crackling fire in the ba­ck­gro­und. The house is ideal for a family holiday, where both adults and children can gather for memorable moments, and after a day with sand between your toes and fresh sea air in your hair, it is espe­ci­al­ly lovely to end the day with a visit to the sauna.

Enjoy life outside

Outdoor living is a big part of the holiday ex­pe­ri­en­ce at Gloryvej 35, as around the holiday home you will find several lovely terraces where you can settle down according to the position of the sun and the direction of the wind. One of the terraces is covered, so you can enjoy your morning coffee sheltered from the dew, and dinner can be taken outside under the open sky, even when the weather shows a slightly more West Jutland side. On warm summer days, you can rinse off the beach’s salt and sand under the outdoor shower, which has both hot and cold water – a little luxury that suits life close to the sea perfectly. If you bring an electric car on holiday, it is also a practical advantage that there are charging fa­ci­li­ties at the house, so you can easily be ready for excur­sions in the local area.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

The location is hard to beat if you want to stay close to the North Sea while also having easy access to everyday holiday con­ve­ni­en­ces. From the holiday home, it is only a short walk through the area and over the dune before you are standing on the beach at Vrist, where you can feel the wind, hear the waves and see the vast sea stret­ching out before you. Here, the days can be spent taking re­fres­hing swims, enjoying long walks along the water’s edge and watching beautiful sunsets colour the sky above the North Sea. Shopping is also within short distance, and if you would like to ex­pe­ri­en­ce more of the area, you can take an excursion to Bovbjerg Ligh­t­hou­se. Just 200 metres from the house, you will also find Vrist Station, from where you can take the local VLTJ train to both Lemvig and Thyborøn. You can also follow the small roads and paths through the peaceful holiday home area and enjoy the special sense of calm that cha­ra­cte­ri­ses the area between dunes, beach and open landsca­pes.

Remember that you can always borrow pull-along carts, high chairs and cots from us at Fe­ri­e­part­ner Vejlby Klit. You can pick them up directly at the office and return them to us again when your holiday is over.
