The kitchen and living room are open-plan, creating the perfect hub for shared meals and con­ver­sa­tions. After a day in the fresh air, you can gather in the living room, where you’ll find the ideal setting for a movie night or a quiet moment with a good book and a cup of hot cocoa. And of course, the dogs are welcome too – they can curl up in a cosy corner while the rest of the family settles in for the evening.

Enjoy life outside

It’s outside that this holiday home truly shines. The large natural plot blends beau­ti­ful­ly into the sur­ro­un­ding dunes, giving you the sense of having your own little slice of North Sea paradise. Enjoy your morning coffee on the terrace as you listen to the wind rustling through the beach grass, and perhaps spot a pheasant or a deer crossing the dunes. When afternoon arrives, it’s only natural to head through the dunes down to the beach – there’s no traffic or noise here, just the soothing sound of the sea and the wind in your hair. The kids can build sandcast­les and play at the water’s edge, while the adults relax in a beach chair gazing out toward the horizon. Back at the house, fire up the grill and let the evening unfold in good company, with nature’s so­und­tra­ck in the ba­ck­gro­und.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

Vejlby Klit is known for its mag­ni­fi­cent coastal landscape and charming holiday at­mosp­he­re, and from Dalevej 9 you’re right in the middle of it all. Just a few steps take you to the top of the nearest dune, where you’ll be rewarded with a bre­ath­taking view over sea and landscape. If you’d like to explore more of the area, you can set out on foot or by bike – perhaps around Ferring Lake or to the Bovbjerg Ligh­t­hou­se, where you can enjoy a coffee while taking in the dramatic coastal scenery. For those in­te­r­e­sted in history and art, it's just a short trip to Jens Søndergaard’s Museum and the charming towns of Lemvig and Thyborøn, offering eve­ryt­hing from freshly caught fish to small shops and maritime ex­pe­ri­en­ces. And with the small Victoria Street Station nearby, it's easy and enjoyable to take the local train and explore the region without a car.
