Large pool holiday home close to the North Sea

At Be­t­ha­ni­a­vej 2 near Harboøre, you will find a holiday home made for spending time together, relaxing and enjoying plenty of holiday fun. Children and the young at heart can look forward to the indoor swimming pool with a slide, while the whirlpool and sauna offer the perfect setting for slowing down com­ple­te­ly. At the same time, you will be staying only around 300 metres from the North Sea, with views from the house across the open co­un­trysi­de and towards the cha­ra­cte­ri­stic dunes.

Welcome inside

Inside, the large open-plan living area forms the natural heart of the holiday home. The kitchen, dining area and living room flow together, so everyone can be part of the social at­mosp­he­re, whether someone is preparing dinner, others are playing cards at the table, or you are simply relaxing in front of the wood-burning stove and TV after a day by the sea. Through the windows, you can look out across the West Jutland co­un­trysi­de, giving the room a wonderful feeling of being close to nature. The main at­tra­ction of the house is, of course, the pool area, where the slide is sure to be a hit with the youngest members of the family, while the whirlpool and sauna invite you to enjoy quieter moments. With several bedrooms and good bathroom fa­ci­li­ties, the holiday home is well suited to a large family holiday or to several families and friends who would like to spend their holiday together. And the four-legged members of the family do not have to stay at home either, as dogs are welcome.

Enjoy life outside

Outdoors, there are also plenty of op­portu­ni­ties to enjoy the special at­mosp­he­re that comes with a holiday so close to the west coast of Jutland. The holiday home enjoys a peaceful and secluded setting, with open views across fields, co­un­trysi­de and dunes. On the north- and west-facing terrace, you can settle down with your morning coffee, enjoy a quiet moment in the fresh sea air or gather the whole holiday party for a meal under the open sky. When the wind drops and the evening sun hangs low over the landscape, it is hard not to feel the holiday calm settle in. There is space to retreat with a good book while others enjoy spending time together, and with the North Sea so close, a trip to the beach can easily become a spon­ta­neous part of the day. After a re­fres­hing walk in the wind, it feels espe­ci­al­ly good to return to the warmth of the sauna, whirlpool or wood-burning stove.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

With only around 300 metres to the North Sea, the beach is a natural part of a holiday on Be­t­ha­ni­a­vej. In just a few minutes, you can reach the dunes, breathe in the salty sea air, listen to the waves and continue down to the water’s edge. The area around Harboøre and Vejlby Klit is ideal for long walks, bike rides and days where nature sets the pace. To the north, you can visit Thyborøn, where the harbour at­mosp­he­re and the area’s maritime history offer plenty to discover, while Lemvig has shops, cafés and a cosy at­mosp­he­re by the Limfjord. To the south, Bovbjerg Ligh­t­hou­se is an obvious desti­na­tion for an outing, with beautiful views along the coast. But the best holiday moments do not always require a drive – sometimes it is enough simply to walk the few hundred metres through the dunes, find your own spot on the beach and watch the sun set over the North Sea.
