Though the house has stood in historic Skiveren for several decades, it’s far from a time capsule. It has been lovingly cared for over the years and was thor­oug­hly mo­der­ni­sed in 2021, making it feel light and airy. Indoors, you’ll enjoy high ceilings, wonderful natural light, and a great con­nection to both the terrace and the beautiful sur­ro­un­ding nature. With its cosy at­mosp­he­re and tasteful Nordic decor, the house is ideal for peace and quiet – but you’re welcome to bring your partner, friends, or family along too. With two bedrooms and an annex, there’s space for up to five guests.

Enjoy life outside
The holiday home sits privately on a large, well-main­tai­ned natural plot featuring a small forest and gently babbling brooks. With no immediate neig­h­bours and direct views of two protected areas, the sense of peace here feels almost magical. Just imagine relaxing in the shade of a parasol with a warm cup of coffee or a cold, re­fres­hing drink while the birds chirp from the treetops and the sun shines above. The terrace is large and partially covered, and the lawn offers plenty of room for ball games, running, and play – making it a hit for families with children or dog owners.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
The house and terrace are wonderful places to spend time – but chances are, you’ll soon feel the urge to explore the in­cre­dib­le nature the area is known for. Trails begin pra­cti­cal­ly outside your door, and whether you’re on a mountain bike or heading out on foot, Tversted Klit­plan­ta­ge is an ideal desti­na­tion. With your own or a rented bike, it only takes five minutes to reach Skiveren Strand for a dip in the North Sea or a front-row seat to the stunning sunsets. Along the way, you’ll pass a five-star campsite with fun acti­vi­ties for kids – and a seasonal shop where you can buy ice cream or handle your grocery shopping locally. You’ll also find golf and mini-golf nearby, and for a change of scenery, it’s just 10 km to cosy Ålbæk and 20 km to lively Skagen.

Remember, you can always borrow handcarts, hig­h­chairs, and baby cots from your nearest Fe­ri­e­part­ner office. You’re welcome to pick them up at the bureau and return them again when your holiday is over.
