Welcome inside
Built in 2000, the house features a fun­ctio­nal layout with three com­fortab­le bedrooms, a nice bathroom with a sauna, and a spacious living room with an in­te­gra­ted kitchen area. The interior is light and airy with pale wooden panels on the walls and vaulted ceilings, and the living room’s large window lets in plenty of natural light. From here, you can gaze out over the sloping holiday home area and enjoy the view of Krik Vig. In classic holiday home style, there is a wood-burning stove in the living room, so if it’s chilly outside, you can gather indoors with warm cocoa near the cozy heat source. There is also an alcove in the living room, an ideal spot for a midday nap after lunch.

Enjoy life outside
If the weather calls for sun­bat­hing and grilled dinners rather than sofa re­laxa­tion and sauna visits, the terrace is perfect for that. It’s a large wooden terrace wrapping around two sides of the house, with a partially covered area. The garden’s lawn offers plenty of space for play and ball games, and there is also a swing set for the youngest holiday guests.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
You’ll be va­ca­tio­ning in the beautiful fjord landscape by Krik Vig at the western end of Lim­fjor­den. On the other side of the bay, you can see Agger Tange, the sout­her­n­most part of Na­tio­nal­park Thy, which boasts rich birdlife and specta­cu­lar panoramic views. For swimming, there is a bathing jetty at Kjærgaarden, but you can also drive a short distance to Agger for a re­fres­hing dip in the North Sea. Shopping can be done in Vestervig, which also offers a good inn and the largest village church in the Nordic countries. If you feel like some spa time and pampering, visit Sydthy Kur- og Svømmebad in Hurup.
