The view is truly impressive here on Edderfuglevej 12, where this spacious and well-maintained holiday home is located. From both the living room and the terrace, you can gaze out over the wide coastal meadow and the open waters of the Limfjord, so you don’t even have to leave the house to enjoy nature.

Welcome inside
Naturally, the scenic surroundings were taken into account when the holiday home was built in 1980. The living room’s enormous windows offer unobstructed panoramic views to the south and thus the fjord—perfect for when you’re gathered around the dining table near the wood-burning stove. Even from the open, recently updated kitchen, you can look out at the water while peeling potatoes and preparing dinner. One of the home’s four large bedrooms also offers views of the fjord. Thanks to a careful renovation, a bright and airy atmosphere fills the well-appointed rooms—including the two bathrooms and the utility room, which is equipped with a washing machine and a spacious freezer.

Enjoy life outside
Unsurprisingly, the holiday home’s two terraces are both oriented southwards to take full advantage of the sun and the stunning fjord view. One terrace is enclosed, making it a great option if you’re bringing a dog along, while the other is completely open, offering direct access to the lawn and further out to the coastal meadow.

Get up close to the local attractions
There are only 100 meters between the holiday home and the beach, so it takes just moments to stroll down to the water. The beach at Helligsø Drag features shallow, child-friendly water and a typically stony bottom, and there are several bathing jetties in the holiday area, making it easy to go for a swim. If you’d rather swim in the North Sea, a 20-minute drive will take you to Agger, which is also a great starting point for a day trip to Thy National Park. After an adventurous day enjoying the magnificent nature of the west coast and the beautiful Limfjord landscape, you can do your shopping in the market town of Hurup, where you might also treat yourselves to a relaxing visit to Sydthy Kurbad.

The Limfjord is characterized by a hilly terrain with many beautiful views over Denmark's largest fjord. Here you will find small and large islands, local ferry connections, beautiful bridges, and cozy market towns with small marinas. The fjord, with its many beaches, is surrounded by plantations, fields, and cliffs, which forms the basis for unique nature experiences, on foot, by bike, by boat or by car. The flat, gently sloping beaches are perfect for families with children.
