Welcome inside
The summer house is situated on a slope and therefore has both an upper and a lower floor. You first enter the upper floor, where you will find an older but practical bathroom with toilet, sink, and shower. On this floor there are also two bedrooms, both furnished with double beds. Facing south, you have the combined kitchen, renovated in 2022, and the spacious living area. The living room offers a dining table and chairs with ample space for eight people, a cosy sofa corner, a large flat-screen TV, and a wood-burning stove. From here, you step out onto a large covered terrace with the most stunning view over­look­ing the Skyum Bjerge nature area, the Limfjord, and the Limfjord island of Mors. It truly doesn’t get any better than this. Through the large windows in the living room, you can enjoy panoramic views of the sur­ro­un­ding nature and wildlife, as well as the sailboats on the Limfjord. Eve­ryt­hing can be observed with the large bi­no­cu­lars provided in the house. The lower floor features two good bedrooms, each with a double bed, along with a large and beautiful luxury bathroom with a spa bath and sauna — perfect for relaxing wellness moments. From the lower floor, you also have access to a private terrace with a beautiful view. The house is equipped with solar panels on the roof, ensuring very low utility costs all year round.

Enjoy life outside
The area around Skyum Bjerge is a unique natural landscape with varied ve­ge­ta­tion sloping down toward the Limfjord. People have lived here for thousands of years, and the area includes many fa­sci­nat­ing burial mounds. The house itself is com­ple­te­ly private and secluded, sur­ro­un­ded by forest. Thanks to its elevated position in the landscape, you still enjoy wide views to the south. The summer house is set on an almost 5-hectare plot where sheep graze during the summer months. There is also the po­s­si­bi­li­ty to bring your own boat and launch it at the nearby Vildsund harbour, with the option to moor it near the house for wonderful sailing trips on the Limfjord. The area is ideal for guests who enjoy cycling, hiking, or running in scenic sur­ro­un­dings.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
Skyum is located in southern Thy by the Limfjord. A short drive takes you to Hurup, offering an 18-hole golf course, swimming pool, spa fa­ci­li­ties, and good shopping options. The charming market town of Thisted is also within easy reach. To the west, you will find Na­tio­nal­park Thy and the North Sea, both worth visiting at any time of year.
In the local area, you will find several exciting at­tra­ctions. In Vildsund, just 6.1 km from the summer house, there is a re­stau­rant. Thy Race Activity Park is only 3.3 km away and is an ideal excursion desti­na­tion for the whole family. Here you can enjoy mini golf, disc golf, football golf, park golf, padel courts, small games, an activity hall, cabins, and picnic fa­ci­li­ties — a place we can warmly recommend. Ad­di­tio­nal­ly, the National Gallery of Denmark in Doverodde is located 22 km south of the summer house and is de­fi­ni­te­ly worth a visit.
