Welcome inside
Indoors, the summer house is designed with a focus on comfort and coziness. A two-sided kitchen is open to the living room, which is a large and lovely space with several inviting seating areas and a wonderful view of the water. The dining table is a great spot to settle down unless you prefer to lounge in one of the sofa corners – and if you light the wood-burning stove and bring out board games or good books, it’s tempting to stay for hours. A bathroom with a shower is located right by the entrance, and when it’s bedtime, you and your family have four good bedrooms to spread out in.

Enjoy life outside
The wooden terrace, stret­ching towards the south and east, is something special—not only is it large, but it also offers the most beautiful view of the water. There are also other terraces and secluded cozy spots around the house, and if the youngest guests need some en­tertain­ment, there is both a swing and a sandbox to enjoy. The whole family can challenge each other on the petanque court, and if one of you has been out fishing and caught something, it’s handy that there is a practical fish-cleaning table with water and a sink adjacent to the covered terrace.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
Amtoft is located in a scenic landscape by the Limfjord: The water is just a few meters from your door, and if you want to take a bike trip on peaceful country roads or go for a walk in Østerild Plantage, it’s easily done. The Vejlerne, Northern Europe’s largest bird reserve, is a paradise for both birds and bird ent­hu­si­asts, and if you love water acti­vi­ties, you have plenty of op­portu­ni­ties to surf, fish, and swim in the area. Lild Strand and Bulbjerg are charming desti­na­tions when you want to ex­pe­ri­en­ce the North Sea, and if it’s the fjord you want to explore, from Amtoft Ferry Harbor you can take the small Feggesund ferry over to Mors. There is also plenty of reason to simply stay in Amtoft, which offers a bathing beach, play­gro­und, grocery store, and a cozy marina.
