The house is older but features a recently renovated bathroom and new leather furniture in the living room. The property has 4 bedrooms, 3 of which are located on the first floor, ac­ces­sib­le via a steep ladder-style staircase. All bedrooms are equipped with new beds and blinds that block out the early morning sun.

A large outdoor fireplace allows you to enjoy the long, bright summer evenings outside.

This is a unique holiday home for those who value a fantastic location, peace and quiet, and beautiful nature. The beach in front of the house is a natural beach, and there is the op­portu­ni­ty for kite surfing right by the beautiful island of Svelmø. Access to the holiday home is via a long gravel road, which is not perfectly main­tai­ned.

The Area

The house is located in the beautiful South Funen co­un­trysi­de near Faaborg. In Faaborg, you’ll find plenty of in­te­r­e­sting shops, museums, re­stau­rants, and a swimming pool. South Funen is known for its unique, hilly landsca­pes – including the Svanninge Bakker, hu­mor­ous­ly called the "Alps of Funen" – and the beautiful South Funen Ar­chipela­go.

Take a day trip to the islands of Lyø, Avernakø, and Ærø – ferries depart daily from Faaborg Harbour. Visit Egeskov Castle, one of Funen’s most popular at­tra­ctions, or explore Odense, the island’s largest city, just a 30-minute drive from the house.
