Several lovely terraces surround the house – some sunny and open, others more sheltered and ideal for a quiet morning coffee or a glass of wine at sunset. Part of the garden has been laid to lawn, providing the perfect place for ball games, play and cartwhe­els on the grass, while other areas have been left in their natural forest state, complete with the scent of pine needles and small winding paths just waiting to be explored. It’s the kind of place where it’s easy to di­scon­nect, breathe out and simply enjoy the moment.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

If you love the outdoors, you’ll find the Ålbæk Dune Plan­ta­tion and the specta­cu­lar Råbjerg Mile dune landscape close by. You can also hop in the car or on a bike and head north to Skagen to ex­pe­ri­en­ce Grenen, the art museums and the unique light that has drawn artists here for ge­ne­ra­tions.
